Nothing I love more than a new tea set. A few years ago I purchased a whole collection of tea pots from a neighbor. His wife had passed and they were hers. The thought of selling to strangers brought him to tears. He was moving to assisted living and just wasn’t going to have room. So I bought the whole collection. I put each of the dozen+ pots in a gift bag. When my dearest friends came to the house, I let each pick a pot. Now each is well loved by someone who knows her story and cherish the pot.

Thank you so much for your beautifully presented, and extremely calming video, I truly needed it for my beautiful little 17 year old Yorkie, Mimi Anne, passed on, January 6th. My heart is hurting so much.She has been such a wonderful addition to our family and will be sorely missed. Our 12 year old Yorkie is looking for her,she knows something is wrong. She kisses me and snuggles when I cry. I guess a cup of tea can't hurt. Thank you for your calmness.

We JUST discovered you a few days ago, and I told my mom I better retire early just to watch your videos all day, (haha) cook and make my simple house a home! That tea set is a perfect summertime outdoor set, and to that end... I've decided you should take that round table and chairs from the parlour out to the front porch come June and do an afternoon tea episode (with our new set) on the porch. Speaking of which, as an artist, I stopped the video at 2 seconds in, and to draw or paint the detail in all of that woodwork as it exists would be a labour of love!

Just love your videos. Please we need more tours of your beautiful home. Found your KZfaq today and my daughter and I were hooked. Thank you for making it so simple for all of us to try so many new recipes. I’m retired now at 69 and am thinking of having 1 day a month that I can invite friends over for afternoon tea. Tea is my passion. I probably have over 60 different types of tea whether it’s loose or tea bags. Making tea sandwiches and little desserts would be so much of a delight for me and I’m sure my daughter would love to attend. Now I think I’ve found my passion in life since I left my stressful job. Well that certainly lowered my blood pressure. I've said it before you are the Mr. ROGERS for adults!! I'm definitely making the cookies and I think your new tea set is gorgeous! What a lovely new tea set! I will definitely give the lemon wheel cookies a try, too! We have Myer lemons that become ripe in December, and my neighbor gives me plenty of them. I freeze some whole, freeze the juice in cubes for cooking, dehydrate some, make jelly and marmalade, and candied lemon peel, so this will be another way to use them!

Everyone loves the tea set so no need to mention that. I have a Noritake set my brother sent me from Japan and use especially for a tea. It came with the tea pot and serving dishes and plates, cups and saucers. Not as elegant as yours but just a beautiful and the nostalgia is important. I would try a piping bag to ice the cookies, a little less messy and much easier than pouring. Have you noticed your viewers, all over the world now? No other host I know has such a welcoming and sincere smile. Kevin is garnering attention, congrats to you Kevin.

Hello, new to your channel. Funny how it popped up in my recommended list after I decided to get a tea tray and host a proper afternoon tea for Valentine's Day. That tea set is GORGEOUS! Almost has an 18th century feel (green was a popular color in colonial America). I love how the pattern has variety to it as well, makes it interesting. And I really enjoy your presentation, so welcoming and cozy. You've given me some inspiration for my tea... hadn't even thought about flowers! Roses, obviously...

This was the first time I watched Kevin. It was a pleasure joining him in his beautiful home & hearing his soothing voice amidst all the political clamor. At one time I owned a Bavarian tea set & enjoyed entertaining as elegantly as he. Now, as I head towards 80, I'm content to be an observer of what I used to be. Thank you, Kevin, for providing an oasis in these turbulent times.

Hello everyone. The new tea set is beautiful. And the lemon wheel cookies are a perfect match. I'm thinking of little violets or individual petals on top of sugar cookies to match your Royal Albert blue roses pattern in spring. Or lavender on top of shortbread. So many options. BTW, it is very easy to make lemoncello. KZfaq abounds with recipes. I've made it twice. Chef Jean Pierre uses it to make lemoncello mousse, out of this world delicious.
