My friends and I used to go out to eat to different restaurants before the pandemic. We loved traveling just to eat lol, so we always tip well with good service. We have had ppl ignore us, be rude, and even charge us for a 35% tip,lie and still expected us to tip again (true story) all based on our race. So you get what you give us, we deduct according to our treatment.

When a company creates a dress code they need to only put what you CAN wear rather than what you CANT, because putting what you can’t is telling us who you don’t want. Yep! I have experienced that and had bad experience even with reserved seating. My friend’s boyfriend paid for a reserved table for her bday and after like 3 hours of waiting at our table all we had were appetizers and drinks. Our entrees never came out. Finally, I asked one of the staff passing by what is going on. She whispered to me they had run out of Turkey legs and were working on our order. To be fair, there was an event going including street vendors and people like James Harden and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee at the restaurant . However, the guy paid over $200 to reserve that table not including food or drinks. Needless to say, we paid for our appetizers and drinks, we left and he was able to get his money for reservations back.

That's crazy. I went twice when I was in Houston. The first time I saw the line and ordered online outside the restaurant and my order was ready within 15 minutes. 2nd time I ordered before I got there online. I waited about 15- 20 minutes after I got there. I was fine with that. The food was good and hot. I will go again when I'm in town.

OMG my mother name was Dorothy Mae and her sister middle name was Jean . They’re from TN. My Mom’s name was pronounced by her relatives in the south as Darthy! We were born in the Midwest and we say Dor-othy . 🤣
