Keywords are powerful because they let you find your photos quickly. Tagging your photos with keywords is laborious, and because of that photographers often don’t bother with keywords. Keyword AI does the tedious work for you. ON1 Photo RAW 2023 automatically examines your cataloged folders and adds keywords for all kinds of objects, locations, and tonal properties of the image. You have control over the things Keyword AI will look for - and you can turn it off entirely if you don’t want it.
The Keyword AI results are searchable in Photo RAW, giving you the benefit of rich search capabilities without the rote labor of tagging photos individually. If you do use keywords today, Keyword AI interoperates seamlessly with keywords you’ve already applied to your images. Keyword AI won’t mess up your carefully curated keyword list. You can selectively or en masse promote AI keywords to the classic keyword metadata, so those tags can be included in photo exports and scannable by search engines or photo stock agencies.
