KFC in Ecuador offered different sides, but chicken tasted spot on to US KFC. We'll have to swing by KFC when we visit Malaysia this summer. Thanks for video!

Just too many fav that I simply can't choose one. McD, Burger King, A&W, Pizzahut, Dominos, KFC, Ayamas, Kenny Rogers, Nandos, Secret Recipe etc.

Well I don’t think it’s quite a fast food but a local franchise that you guys can have a look while in Malaysia, Secret Recipe. Specialised in cheese cakes, oriental asian and western meal. Have a go!

Huhu...the staff ask the chicken for original or spicy...the zinger burger does not come in original...its always spicy 🤭🤭 that is Malaysia, always eating spicy food...if they told you its not spicy, dont trust them 🤣🤣 if they tell it is spicy, ready to burn your mouth 🤣🤣

I am confident that our KFC is one of the best in the world. I know better than Japan, perhaps Canada as well.

The authentic Malaysian version of western food should be Ramly Berger. It's really fantastic (to Malaysian taste palate anyway) give it a go. You might like it. Welcome to Malaysia. Enjoy your stay and most of all enjoy Malaysian Hospitality. Cheers.

I suppose its global brands’ attempt at acculturation and glocalisation when they are in different markets. I believe they do “taste tasting” on local taste buds to localise the taste of their products. Gone are the days where different markets just accept a standard taste. These markets have so many choices now.

We love seeing how KFC/Maccies/Dominos menus vary abroad 😂 very cultured! We had KFC in Bangkok and it was one of the best KFCs we ever had! Taste was similar to UK but it was all cooked to perfection 👌

@@tyandsoph we actually haven’t tried it ourselves but we’ve seen it everywhere! I think in general they just put more care into the fast food here than in the UK 😂

Malaysian KFC is definitely better than the one in UK. The closest thing to Malaysian KFC you'd find in the UK would be one of them fried chicken takeaways which are supplied by Dibs Distribution.

if you want the worst KFC in the world come to Singapore. Taste like missing spices, way too salty and very very expensive. Heck I've got many purchase whereby the chicken is even smaller than my thumb!!! With photos to show (it's in the web somewhere)
