The way his brothers look after him while he is cutting weight is beautiful to see, helping him get dressed, undressed, helping him up, getting things ready for him. To be a champion you need people around you like this to help build you up. Islam will be UFC lightweight champion by the end of 2022 I believe.

These guys are changing UFC from the macho BS of McGregor to Spartan warriors of old. Makhachev shook his opponents hand at the weigh-in, it’s 2 warriors in the ring but outside its 2 men who understand each other’s commitment to the art of fighting and there is only respect for ones opponent.
