And yes, we have Selena Gomez but there are certain artists that when called only by their first name you ONLY think of one person. Examples: Christina, Britney, Justin, Celine, Mariah, Aretha, Whitney. Selena Gomez is Selena GOMEZ. And Selena on its own CAN ONLY refer to Selena Quintanilla Queen of Cumbia. PERIOD! This is NOT up for discussion.

So hard Dreaming Of You Bidi Bidi Bom Bom Si Una Ves Disco Medley basically all the movie songs but the 2 songs they should’ve added and criminally didn’t was Captive Heart (which was a very soulful song) for English and Techno Cumbia for Spanish those songs slapped so f’in hard and deserved to be in the movie like it’s outrageous those 2 songs weren’t in the movie.

The ironic part is Selena Gomes was named after the OG Selena cause her daddy was a huge Selena fan (who can blame him) and she better be glad he was or she would’ve been named Pricilla but thankfully her cousin got the misfortune of having that name whereas Selena sounds really pretty. I love how Selena Gomez always acknowledges how she was named after Selena and grew up with her music I wonder if she remembered Selena death as she was only 2 turning 3 that July. I was 3 months from being born when she was killed March 31 1995. I wish shw could’ve completed the album and saw the success of English music she is loved by people of all backgrounds to this day like even the Kardashians and Beyoncé gush over Selena
