Күн бұрынWelcome to my first drive of the new Kia EV9 "Air" & "GT-Line" Trim levels.
Who'd have thought that Kia, a company that just a few years ago brought us the Venga, would bring us this beast and be taking on the Germans, JLR and Volvo!
The EV9 is the Korean brands flagship electric SUV which can seat 6 or 7 people. Power comes from a larger 99.8 kWh battery. Rear or all wheel drive with ranges over 300 miles.
Despite its size (It's longer than a LR Discovery) the EV9 is still based on the e-GMP, just like the EV6.

Test drove this, brilliant. No Range Rover EV until 2025, and I would speculate an additional £50,000

Lovely review i have seen so far on KZfaq. Does the air trim have 7 seats? Or it's just exclusive to GT line trim?

Love the styling of these; it's also got the kicked up rear side window that I have on my 2020 Kia Soul EV and the boxy body that helps with roominess. Good review, thanks!

@@AutoBears The best thing I have found with your reviews is that you take into account things like how the vehicle work for passenger with disabilities I find this refreshing and also storage of wheelchairs my wife is partially dis a led and so this is really helpful.

Any idea if any of the range have led headlights with active shadowing?

I believe the GT Line S has the "Matrix" style LED headlights you are referring to.

Granted the price is a lot but for the size and tech involved. It is justifiable.

@@AutoBears Its a stripped down trim for the UK. Imagine having to deal with kia after sales on this.
