The Magnite is just not up to scratch. Interior quality is depressing. Stylish though.

I definitely go with the Kia Sonet, even though it doesn't have the LED lights 😬 Would love to see more reviews of budget sedans (like the Suzuki Dzire you did) like the Kia Pegas. Maybe reviews of lesser known brands like the Baic, if possible 🙏🏾😊

I am watching this from India! Today only, I changed my decision to book Sonet instead of Magnite. I guess, your genuine review puts a stamp on my decision too. Let's hope to find my Sonet within 4-5 months.

Why does each journalist prefer the Kia Sonet, yet you hardly see them on the road! Are you guys getting by KIA? I don't like the looks of the Kia Sonet, it looks like a shopping trolley.

Thanks Sosa. Easy one for the Kia Sonet actually. It feels more complete in this segment. I am waiting for you to get the Tiggo 4 Pro (A little high on the price but still fitting) and give the perspective from a longer period test drive compared to this. Because in short runs, I had the sonet in the bag till the Tiggo 4 pro.

Hundred percent. Sonet is clear in this segment. The Tiggo 4PRO will be interesting because that car is quite complete so hopefully when I do get it on test I shall rank it with these ones and see where it fits🙏🏾

In your opinion, which is a better buy? 1. Kia Sonet 1.5 Manual EX (R330k) 2. Hyundai i20 1.4. Motion Automatic (R300k special deal) 3. Hyundai Fluid 1.0T Manual (R330k) Really at odds here 😅

Thank you for the video..... i love the sonnet but i would like it in automatic and if im not mistaken we have the cvt transmission in SA😩. I havent heard great things about cvt. What are your thoughts about mazda2 by the way for a new driver? Other car reviews id like to see- corolla hatch and new renault clio danko😊

It's a pleasure. I've only had great thing about the Mazda two. Haven't experienced one but from reviews it's a good car. I will definitely try my best to get those vehicles 😅. Thank you for your input

CVT in Kia brand is so smooth. It's not saggy or sleggish. It's very fast and very responsive

I liked this a lot and I actually want to get a first car and I'm in between the Hyundai i20, Grand i10 and the Kia Sonet. I know you've done reviews on 2 of them already but is it possible to do the grand i10?

I'm not sure why in south Africa they don't have led drl and led head lights.... in indian model they have new logo heart beat led drls man looks so premium and compared to Nissan magnite sonet is best bcoz magnite looks like a cross over and the kia is real comp suv

Hi the Kia Sonet is quite a lot more expensive than the Brezza which is a huge thing in this category which you don’t mention

Nissan Magnite Cvt for me thanks! Best looking Suv out there. Runs smoothly and the turbo works well. Spacious interior even in the back. Excellent ground clearance at 205 mm. Nissan offers a 6 year warranty so must genuinely believe in their product. Suzuki engine weak in comparison and would definitely be my last choice.

My biggest issues with the kia sonet 1. The Headlamps, I don't understand why they couldn't just put LEDs in 2. The rear seats, Some of the cheapest cars have 60/40 split back seats, I dont know why kia ddnt do it, even the upcoming GTline is the same 3. Price The rivals have a big advantage here The midrange EX is more expensive than the top spec vitara brezza that's a problem.
