@@Elmamaguebo16 I had a stinger GT tell me he walks challengers and chargers. He swore he could run my scat pack challenger saying how heavy and slow they are. I admittedly thought he was trolling didn’t know what his car was. The stingers are no slouch but they brag about beating 5.7s so what’s the difference here when they go against the big boys.

haha.. Sam and I both won one against the Charger (my win wasn't recorded, fun race), but it comes down to these Dodge's Launch. good, we lose, bad, we win... Stinger is Driver mod proof, almost.. just have to hammer it and it grips and goes.. Dodge's have too much power to the wheels, so they need to learn to minimize slip and get her going.... They're 275 upgraded tires helped them grip too... They are beats !

JB4 piggyback vs whatever NA mods you want on the Mopars and it's a nice close race if they get hooked. That day with a JB4 93 tune that stinger would have walked em' both, Sam knows what he talking about all the way down to the launch control being weak as hell.

The audi rs3 would like a word with you. There are 4 known rs3 hitting 1300hp out of a 5 cylinder motor. With big turbos and software tune ups. Hey Sam why don't you get an rs3 in the next video with this charge and challenger. Rs3 With 400hp it would be a better match . Or at least get a stinger with software update .piggy back that hits 400hp plus. To be fair.

It doesn't go thru to the other side the in Flinstones. what 1/4 mile times are you getting if stock or when it was stock with your stinger ?.. Stinger owners need to appreciate these V8's if they grip, we're walked. ONLY reason we beat them 1/4 mile is because of our first few seconds jump on them.. These two both had 275 tires on them as well, which helped them launch.

@@zronllc3192 Simply put in the Stinger we can easily put a tune on and be extremely competitive with a 392 or scat. I was fully stock with a JB4 and e30 tune. Me 4 deep went door to door with a 392 charger with 2 people. I thought it was impressive. Unknown his mods but seemed like bolt-ons.

Stinger GT owner. I’m running a JB4 on map 5 on “race” gas, big ass intercooler, catless downpipe, full exhaust with muffler delete & CAI. I’d put mine up against a 392 any day.

@@jakerandall6960 pushrod engines have way higher ceilings than the 3.3 GDI, why do you think top fuel dragsters are still using big block Chevy's. Its the whole eco boost vs 5.0 thing all over again, yeah stock for stock they're so close its driver error but if you're building each engine to its limit you'll end up cracking the 3.3 GDIs block before getting close to the 6.4 liters power.

If the scats hook on launch stinger has no chance shit a M340i quickest car in class have no chance. But usually on the street say at a light the scats tires are not sticky ready to go n they slip quick n stinger takes off. I’m curious if these scat drivers have upgraded bigger tires maybe 305s or somthin.

Even when the Kia got the jump it still got ran down. It just does not have enough HP stock. Has to be a wet street for the Kia to shine.

I made a comment about it--in a modern AWD car--and I own a Stinger--there is no reason to fiddle with the traction control.BTW if you turn the traction control off while in gear--and go down the submenus--the dashboard will show he has it in sport--but go into the submenu and the shift pattern will be in comfort.Would not be surprised with all the fiddling he did if it was not shifting in comfort mode.BTW I already contacted cr and driver about a video--same thing they had an AWD stinger and were not running "good" laps--well when I froze a quick shot of the dashboard--lol--they were in comfort mode.BTW I also owned my Stinger for several months before knowing I could use the touchscreen and adjust the cars dynamics even further.Best thing to do unless you know exactly what you are doing is to simply put the car in sport mode and leave everything else alone--especially at a str8 line drag--if anything the computer will help because it will not allow any slippage

@@jmkos86 The car interior is cheaply built, not confortable seats, way too stiff and has less than half the standard features available on the stinger. The back seats are awful and the boot of the car is nowhere near as big and useful as the stinger. With stinger you get so much more than just speed.

@@aono335 For the price tag its a good deal. I have the leather seats and navi, sooo much space compared to other sports vehicles. Very comfortable and affordable vehicle.

@@aono335 well obviously one is a nice sedan and the other is a beast of a muscle car. I have a challenger. For what it is, it’s a much more comfortable ride then either the mustang or camaro. It’s a much more roomier car and well…yeah…I don’t believe anybody goes after a scar pack Challenger for “comfort” or “nice seats”….they go for what was shown in the video. Sure the stinger is a nice, kia “luxury” car. You’re also talking about a $55k Kia to a $42k challenger with so much more potential under the hood. In my opinion, the genesis g70 top of the line is a better car then the stinger and cheaper but hey, I’m not gonna knock on what you said about the stinger having a sort of “nicer interior”. But I will challenge what you said about the challenger not being practical. Have you ever driven inside one? It’s really not that uncomfortable and you are once again comparing a sedan to a coupe.
