I remember watching on bringing up Bates when Callie was a very little girl. Gil Bates with handing out chores so the kids could earn a little money and he says to Cali you know what can you do to earn a little money? And she said I don't know and he said could you help with dishes and she said no I'm just too little and she was , so he gave her a dollar anyway. It was very cute.
