Holy that discussion about if Norn should be able to stay in the Dorms or not and facing what is bothering her and everything else discussed was one of the best I've seen on channels like this. It was well done. Not just for this scene or episode I mean it shows you care and are invested in the plot and characters. For the most part I think that you said is reasonable and likely why Rudy did want to include rules like come home every 10 days etc. You totally called that Aisha stuff before even the scene. I hope no one else spoils things. People will be temped to hint at things to come even in small ways based on your reaction here. As I watch more I realize this is a 10 out of 10 channel. Really enjoyable and well thought out etc. Good inputs.

Here is my final comment. A "quick" one. I can honestly say that Rifujin na Magonote wants this kind of discussion, this is what his series is about. Not just wanting to call Norn a brat etc. Sure at times those thoughts crop up. But your able to see it for what it is. And again it's not just this episode. Thank you. I know this sounds little corny. But some people can't place themselfs in other peoples shoes or respect these kind of plot lines. I find this MT to be very realistic for a story about magic and fantasy.

10:03 I watched a vid recently n i liked how they explained it. You have a kid who was ripped away from her world, and then her only parent became her world. Hes doing his best to protect her and do his best and then comes in a stranger who attacks him. In the child’s mind your father, your whole world who can’t do any wrong has just been assaulted. That is a core memory. And then shes told hey this is your brother, hes great, hes done so many astonishing things. Now your in his home and in his school where everyone sings his praises and your the average or underperforming person who is related to this figure you dont like. Its alot for a kid who is just starting to remember stuff further than what she had for dinner yesterday.

Great reaction! Love the perspectives on the sisters and the strange dynamic they will all have to learn to live with in this new household. I've heard there is a lot more to this conflict between Aisha and Norn in the Light Novel, but it seems the anime has skipped over it/toned it down. Wonder if we will see any of what happened? Well, I can read the LN easily enough once the season is over :)

Yes it's a pretty dense section of the story. A lot to take in. Ruijerd has a little more to say and talk about Eris. I just hope the Anime is able to do it justice. So far I'm impressed but a little worried. lol You will really enjoy the light novel of this volume. And yes Anime Date Night blew me away! I had the same exact thoughts and feelings. Uncertainty, questions. Raising kids even as an older brother in a situation like this is hard for anyone. No perfect way to do it even in the best of circumstances.

Thanks I'm just about to watch this reaction. Let you know more of what I think at the end. While as always missing stuff from the LN. The only thing I feel that it's nice to point out is that these sisters are physical with one and other during their fights. Punches, smacks, clawing at each other in tussles. Rudy witnesses this first hand during the scene they are all talking in the living room about Norn being able to go to a Dorm etc. It's clear their temperatures boil over and it's worse than the anime shows. Now the fighting is not super violent it's half ass. It's kids having a "proper fight" I think is how Rudy thinks about it. Like he does not want it to happen? But I believe Rudy realizes it's kind of normal at times between siblings but this is a little to much. They obviously need some space etc. They are both at fault.

I believe Norn and Aisha are ten here. Also you only get a hint of it here, but Aisha has a huge brother complex. (Her mother raised her to serve him after all) Theres some cut content here. She's much more flirtatious with Rudeus in the light novels. Usually teasing him somehow and then sometimes runs away cackling. Rudeus has none of it though. Aisha is very intelligent and mature for her age, but Norn is mostly a normal girl.

About norn hates Rudy it does kinda makesense because Rudy punch her dad. The thing is her dad Paul not only Dad to her Paul is like her Hero. The time they got Teleported together paul the only person that take care her. Keeping her save, and protecting her, not only that she really looking him as a hero not only take care her Paul really work Hard to find their family and Norn see all of that. But suddenly a person that you never seen punching your Hero Dad and disrespecting him. That must be really hard for her, she's only 8 years old kid back then the only thing and the first thing she know about rudy is He Punching her Hero dad. Norn never see or know Rudeus but the first time he see him Rudy punching her hero dad. That's really a bad² first impression. After that all the thing rudeus doing, she might think he gonna doing something bad. She see all the thing rudeus does in the negative way.

9:33 Lilia Greyrat is the second Wife, not concubine. Concubine in that case was used as a derogatory term to diminish people’s worth. Instead of saying hey my mother i your step mom or my mother is his wife, the status is shifted to concubine, someone that you just have sex with and has no value outside of fun. Your birth was a mistake, you are not legitimate family, we do not recognize your worth. Thats how Nobility, the Main religion of that kingdom and Royalty look at it and that why Rudy had to comfort her and tell her i see you as a full sister just like Norn. You have worth.

Ofc she's 10 after all 😂, also paul just spoil her too much so she didn't think that much about teleportation incident thats why she grow up just like kids her age. Don't forget she also lost mother figure since 6 & afraid of rudy (S1E16) .
