The interviewer was horrendous imagine you get the chance to interview Austin Butler in one of the most talked about movies of the year and ask him these absurd questions????? I was shaking my head like oh my gosh get this clown off the air

I actually thought that question--and most of the questions--were good. Different than others he'd been asked in other interviews, and it's meant to be different and light-hearted, instead of asking run-of-the-mill questions that the formal press junket journalists had asked a month earlier for the premier. As a person who is on set a lot in Los Angeles and all the fittings we go through...it's a legit wardrobe question, and was designed to be amusing. He prefaced the chest hair question by saying "my office is women and gay dudes," and noted that the *women* first noted the chest hair. It almost would have been weirder if a traditional journalist had asked him that. The "mom" question was a misstep, and he interrupted AB's answers a handful of times, but he clearly liked the movie and put some thought into making the interview different than most. He gets credit for that.

Yeah, you can see he was, he even put his hand on his head quickly, I do think in the end that he knew his guy had the hots for him though, when the guy mentioned eyeing up his chest hair the previous night 🤣
