I can't really decide which version I like better this time. Hantans voice sounds so "Shouting for Help" while Miku sounds like "this is the depressing truth I can never escape"

I really like it when in the Hanatan version, there's a voice crack. I thought it was funny, at first; but then I thought about it deeply, and it started to sound like she was suffering. I really love Kikuo's songs; intense, like Gomen ne, Gomen ne or Ten Sho Sho Ten Sho-or even calming; like Soshite, Kimi ha Tsuki ni Natta or Hoshikuzu no Soujifu. Hanatan's version sends chills down my spine because it sounds like she's desperately calling for help and salvation but Miku's version sounds hopeless and depressing, like she's given up and wants everything to end. Both are equally effective and heart wrenching.

I love how kikuo's songs sound so different with vocaloid as opposed to hanatan and yet both versions are so incredible. The feelings are so strong in both versions, but so different i'm just in awe

This song is based off of a girl whos parents were taking her to school. They had crashed when a deer was in the middle of the road, the car flipped, killing the parents and putting the girl in the coma. That deer triangle thing may be referencing a road sign for deer nearby. Along with this, a coma would be the perfect reason to say "Please wake me up" which is a message that's mentioned a lot in the lyrics. She tries escaping the place she was put in after getting in the coma. She's tired of being with the dead and living, she wants to wake up. Also, jellyfish are a sign of bad memories when found in dreams. Just thought it was worth mentioning

Vernoxis yea and i guess she was in the coma for a long time. and some doctors actually will turn all the devises off, causing the person to die. and in the vid, around 3:05, a man pressed a button and she panicked and that jellyfish collapsed. after that she was sad the whole time

I like that interpretation, especially the part with the deer, which never made sense to me before. Adding to that, the tentacles may be a reference to the tubes that are put into her body to treat her, like for artificial ventilation or parenteral nutrition, things like that. She also has no mouth in the dream, which could relate to her inability to eat, speak or even scream because she's in a coma.

んー、この動画作ったのが大鳥さんって人だけどその人が作ってる「そこにはまた迷宮」ではきちんと足がある。やっぱりちゃんとした足にしなかったのは理由があるんじゃないかなと思う。「どこにも行けない足で」って歌詞にもあるし。

It could be interpreted in so many ways, though! From what I’ve put together, it seems to be some artistic representation of schizophrenia. But it could also be about a girl whose parents died in a car crash because there was a deer in the road, putting the girl in a coma. The way she puts her fingers in a triangle around a deer’s silhouette could be a reference to a street sign. Also, jellyfish are symbols of bad memories in dreams! I love Kikuo sm 💕

I'm led to believe this song is about mental illness. The black creatures may represent schizophrenia and fear, the stabbing of the plate may allude to eating disorders, like anorexia, whilst the hanging by the foot is a failed attempt at suicide and the tentacles symbolise depression like she is constantly being haunted by sadness and like tentacles would, they have a strong grip on her. Furthermore, the schoolgirl outfit shows how she is still a girl at school and how such illness affects young people.

To me, if interpreted with the video, it's about depression and suicidalness. It is very hard to attempt suicide and when you do, not always it works. The Death scene (tall person in with a cape) is the best example of it. She asks Death for death, the Death isn't giving it so easily, so she attempts suicide by falling, but Death catches her with a rope and then messes her up physically. In the end of the video she is back on the swings like in the beginning of the video, which represents the same old reality. There is kind-of no escape from life, even if you want to die.

I have a theory to this song. It may not be 100% accurate, but here's goes nothing... Both the song and animation/video may not JUST be representing a nightmare, but representing the actual world. Now hear me out. We live in a world where screwed up things can happen right? Right. Well the monsters in the video are possibly represent the BAD things that happen in this world. The girl for her part alone is trying escape and/or wake herself up from this world, and that she believes it's all a nightmare. But the sad truth is, it's not (or is it...). Anyways, I also do believe that the deer in this video represents one thing that can keep her sane: Mother Nature. Now to end things off, as much as she believes she can wake herself up from this cruel world, there is only one simple way she can, and it comes in only one, simple, word...'Death'... Yep that's my theory 😐

Well for me, I kind of feel that there's something disturbingly sexual about the song. I think that the girl protagonist is a sex slave, forced to have sex with other people for money (by her parent, who might be the black hooded man? I dunno). Each and every monster appearing in the video might represent some of her "customers," and the squids are you-know-what-they-are. Well, that's my theory at least (influenced by reading too much Freud).

Based on all the comments and my thoughts, I think that the girl got into an accident because a deer ran out onto the road (she makes a triangle shape around the deer with her fingers, which can mean a road sign "Wild animals"), then she fell into a coma where she can't wake up ("I'm patiently waiting for dawn.
