Love any kill team matches, but please add some close ups of the minies while game. It adds to immersion :)

27:13 & 34:57 Oddly enough the Plasmacyte Accelerator cannot give out APL to the Cryptek or Apprentek via its accelerate ability. It can only give it out to Immortals and Deathmarks. I've definitely made that same mistake so no judging here. It's an odd rule since most comms can give out APL to anyone. I don't think it mattered here since the leader only did two actions on the third turn (charge, melee attack), and nothing on the final round. This was a fun game to watch but what a slaughter! Those dice were crazy!

Make sure you can run 4 of the gunners as well as marker, gun, shield and recon drone on the roster (:

Love the content, clean batreps in this timeframe are hard to find. A nice change of pace to the story driven ones. Not to be a stickler but I'll list stuff that I noticed so we can discuss about the rules as I'm still learning... Can you place the third barricade outside of deployment? Wasnt that locked away so you can put it on terrain? Also 25:19 you can't use a retained defence dice that came from cover to double up with another normal hit to block a crit. 35:52 The token actually remains if the model doesn't reanimate! 40:21 Nanomine has a range limitation of red(6) but needs no visibility. Don't know when this happened but the despotek can't buff itself.

Crit Ops Fortify lets you place a barricade anywhere within your territory You can use retained cover dice to stack with normal saves to block a crit Not sure which token? Despotek can buff himself as he has the Immortal keyword (:

@@CanYouRollaCrit Ok I wasn't sure if that was in your territory. Must have imagined the part about not beeing able to use cover dice to double up... The reanimation token stays up as per reanimation protocols: "roll one D6 for each of your Reanimation tokens. On a 1-2, leave that Reanimation token in the killzone." Ah didn't look at the keywords. I'm loving this as a HC player on a losing streak. Some good things I didn't realise I can do for next time I play. However, I believe the free command your cryptek gave to your despotek around 21min needs to be an overwatch (-1 to hit), not a free shoot. Also it would need to be within 6" if a regular immortal or deathguard. Not sure it would have made any difference considering the rolls and being the despotek who doesnt need to be in any range. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but thats how I've been playing it

Nice learning experience for me. I always thought that cryptek can only perform ONE cryptek action, but I mixed it up with Apprentek. A point though: 27:10 - Acclerator can only boost immortals or deathmarks, not crypteks.

great video, bit of a newbie question at the end of turning point 1 tau coms guy gave an extra APL to the Grenadier, and the turning point ended, but it seemed to carry over to turning point 2, i thought it was only for the 1 turning point and didn't carry over or have i got that completely wrong lol

Hey! APL modifiers carry over if given to an operative that has already activated, lasts until they next activate! Will be doing a video on it soon (:

Very good BR! But!!! At 35:40 Apprenteks resurrection got a 1, the token should not be removed actually. But as it is tp4 you just took it away? No advantages of having stuff on field?

The cuts to the book profiles confused the hell out of me this video 😂 "His shots hit on 3's" *shows 4+ BS* "Hitting on 2's" *shows 3+ WS* "Takes 4 and goes to 8 wounds" *shows profile with 10 wounds* 🤣I was crazy lost until I went away and read over the Hierotek Circle rules online 😅

Sorry for pointing this out, but you can't buff the Cryptek's APL with the Accelerator, can only buff immortals and deathmarks. Also I think you were rolling 4 dice instead of 5 with Cryptek's stun weapon.

I can't control my dice gaining crit sentience 🥲 Not broken but very strong. Oddly I think Heirotek are a good counter into Pathfinders atm

I've done the matchup. I find that pathfinders excel at eliminating key targets and hanging onto objectives - likely dying a lot along the way. If the targets you eliminate reanimate... well that's a very tough situation, ha@@CanYouRollaCrit

@@CanYouRollaCrit "Command (0AP): Select one friendly DEATHMARK or IMMORTAL operative Visible to and within of 6"either this operative or a friendly IMMORTAL DESPOTEK operative." It didn't make a difference in this case even if despotek was outside 6" of the chronomancer since despotek was in range of himself . But there is a range limit on that ability. It also makes you use overwatch and not a shooting action, so you were hitting on 3's (also didn't make a difference in this case).

Cool report, but this complaining about dice is really unnecessary. It's a dice game, expect it and be stoic about it. You shouldn't tie your enjoyment of the game to uncontrollable randomness, if you do, play deterministic games with no RNG, there are plenty (it's general "you" btw, not anyone specifically ;)).

I agree with you. Its totally understandable to be disappointed by your rolls, but when making a youtube video keep it to yourself and stay positive.
