My family just bought a house and once I heard I’m getting my own room, I got so excited and started watching videos like this and searched to see how I can make my room cool and unique. My entire life I had to share a bedroom with my siblings or uncles and cousins when I got older. But now my family saved up enough to get a house with twin garages. My room is going to be small, way smaller than the room in this video, but I’m definitely going to go all out. I’m going to get a new bed, new desk setup, a nice chair, and a bunch of other stuff. I’ll try to keep my budget between $800-$1000 since I’ll be using my own money. But I’m just so excited. Our closing date should be in a few weeks.

Budget is 1000 bucks? Here’s some tips for an actual budget: (1) thrift everything and adopt aesthetics that are easy to find at thrift stores. (2) Don’t think that something you want in one moment is the only thing that can make you happy. (3) Non functional decor is silly. Useful items can still be stylish or you could alter them yourself! (4) DIY that looks crafty is better than store bought and makes your space feel more yours. (5) Facebook marketplace in rich people neighborhoods are cheeeeeeap! (6) don’t buy a bunch of stuff at once. You can’t ever really tell if they will always match and is more likely to be impulse bought. (7) Christmas lights are a cheaper alternative to LEDs that can still be hidden underneath bed frames or behind monitors. (8) new throw pillows are silly, take the sleeve and fill it with polyfil, or thrift them. (9) treat your room as a collection of you, not as an artifact that is only meant to look good when put together right. (10) Plants are a bit pricey if you gather a bunch, but are a wonderful addition to liven up a room.

I like your editing style and presentation! The only off thing was the introduction was 3-4min in thats about half the video to get to the point. 3min intro isnt bad for like 10-15min video but for an 8min keep it less than 2min at least. Anyway fortunately videos can be skipped ahead. I liked how simple and clean it is. I have a different style so I can judge to harshly lol but whats counts is it all came together

The next 3 mins in my eyes was filled with tips that help you create smart purchases and understand how to design an aesthetic space that suits yourself. And the final few minutes of the video was a separate segment detailing my personal purchases and updates to my room
