I watched this in the cinema at a packed theater. When the opening started with the pile up, people were freaking out, screaming and laughing and just going crazy. It was like the opening of Scream 2, but I was actually there. It was amazing. Btw, after Final Destination, you should check out the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. The kills are as crazy and creative as here.

This movie traumatized THOUSANDS of people for YEARS. Scared of log trucks on roads, scared of getting caught in elevator doors and some people were even scared to barbeque.

I’ve been waiting over a week to say this….I passed a logging truck on the way to work about a week or so ago. Thank god I wasn’t behind it! I will never ride behind a logger truck or a truck that has wood on it. (I’m even sketchy being behind a truck full of household appliances or yard equipment!) Thanks to the beginning of this for giving me anxiety for life!

Dude, I'm telling you this movie and especially the next one Final destination 3 really messed me up. These movies really know how to make people afraid/paranoid of normal every day stuff. Planes, highways, dentists, buses and trains, garbage disposals in sinks, construction areas, hospitals, and lots of other stuff for you to witness in the later movies. And that's what these movies so good in my opinion. Can't wait for you to dive in the next movie Final destination 3 man. There’s always people saying that you’re more likely to die in a car crash than a plane crash so the franchise said, “aiight bet!” And made you fear both just as equally.

This is not a spoiler because it's not in the sequels. But there was a "choose your fate" special feature I think in the DVDs that showed a newspaper article about Kimberly's and officer Burke's death 5 years later. They were both sucked into a woodchipper. Her coat got stuck and she got sucked in and the same happened to him while trying to save her. You can find the image online. I think their death is non canon though.

I love how they taunt death in EVERY movie saying how there not afraid then when someone dies they turn into a little B*tch and when they try to get out early deaths like NA NA you gonna die when I say u die 🤣🤣🤣

Imo this is the best the franchise has offered along with the original but I prefer this one cause it’s very gory and creative with the kills. The fact the kid was originally gonna be younger would’ve been crazy since killing kids is already a holy shit moment but very young kids is never really done. The opening is also very great and traumatic literally the reason why I don’t drive behind any sort of truck I will speed myself around it💀.

Hi! I can understand your laugh, in the beginning and in the end of the movie. It really written as a parody of a horror movie. Was so fun to watch. I laughed so hard too. But then it turns into a real horror movie where everyone dies one by one. I like the plot where they figure out that they all connected. That these are not just random people. It's a shame that Claire died so soon. She was like Randy from Scream to me, explaining the rules and how it works. By the way, both died in the second part of the movie lol. I was hoping for both to reach at least 3 films. For me, the most brutal deaths will be in next movies. I'll be sure to post a comment later about that. Don’t want to make spoilers. But omg, the 2nd movie and clueless caused me to not want yo drive on the freeway/highway for the longest time hahaha 😂 I do like this as a sequel but it doesn’t make sense when someone has been skipped or death is testing how to kill them. Especially when it came to the mom and teen. Like wouldn’t those technically count as saves in the dentist office??

The best part of the franchise is ahead!

They cheated death twice, they were supposed to die earlier but the people from flight 180 intervened and then death tried to get them again on the highway but Kimberly intervened so then death has to work overtime to make sure they don't get away.

My personal opinion is that FD2 is peak final destination! 1,3 and 5 are good too 4 is the weak one But number 2 is just perfection!

This movie for sure made all generation of people that got uncomfortable every time that truck with wood is next on road. Ahh 😁 Elevator death is wow, and I normally don't like elevator. 2 and 3 are my favorite.

This may help you understand how an why people die like they do in these movies. There is a dark comedy show you may like called Dead Like Me it. Also has one movie to wrap up the TV series because it happens after the tv series. I won't spoil anything from the show. But it basically explains that there is basically a few ways for people to die. They are natural causes like old age or hart attacks, disease like cancer or flu an external circumstances. That one is more broad like being killed or self deleting or random things that physically kill you. Every one is set to die a certain way they can't or don't die any other way. All the deaths you see in the start of the movies are under external circumstances. So every one has to die in that manner basically if you're supposed to die in a explosion. A external circumstances death you can't die by a hart attack because. You whore locked into a external circumstances kind of death. Basically its like a random lottery draw you never know what kind of death you whore locked into when you where born. Because thats the kind of death you get in the end its basically a really Ft up lottery.

For me, 3 and 4 are the weakest ones. Part 5 is actually really good. I love part 2, it seems to have a more tongue-in-cheek attitude although the death/actions scenes are very well done, probably because the director was a stunt coordinator previously, so he understands how to set up the elaborate stunts and action. He also directed part 5.
