“FUN” fact Maggies actor Lauren Cohan almost quit bc of this episode. She read the script and went to the show runners and told them she couldn’t do it, emotionally. That the scene was too much. They told her that it would be a quiet set with just a few with plenty of breaks and they would get through it together. She agreed and decided to go ahead with the scene.

The way Rick says nooo nooo aww noo to Carl makes my eyes tear up Andrew Lincoln’s acting is incredible.

One of the best episodes and saddest moments, regardless of our feelings for Lori.

Fun Facts: about this episode Michonne was a lawyer in the comics which does explain why she was investigating the vehicles and Carol was originally going to die but she was on the posters so they just killed off T-Dog so now I wonder if T-Dog would of survived after this.

I remember watching this episode when it first aired in October 2012. About a month earlier, my mother had suddenly passed away. Due to personal circumstances - and to her wishes for no memorial service or visitation - I didn't really get to say goodbye. So watching Lori's last scene with Carl - when she tearfully embraced him and told him how much she loved him, just before her own death - I completely broke down and just sobbed for a long time. It was an unexpected moment of grieving and healing that I really needed in that moment. This episode always gets me.

The fact that Rick didn’t end on the best of terms with Lori (they weren’t really talking to each other in Season 3) and the fact Rick couldn’t even acknowledge/hold his baby at the end there really shows how devastated Rick is by Lori’s death.

This episode broke my heart in so many ways never saw it coming.

I'm crying like a baby! That scene with Lori telling Carl goodbye and how he's such a sweet good boy!? Omg I literally ball my eyes out every time I see it. The Governor killed the pilot because, as you said, he was loyal to the other soldiers killed by the Governor and his men. If the Governor allowed the pilot to recover, he wouldn’t have stopped investigating until he knew exactly how the other soldiers died, because they survived for so long. The pilot knew it wouldn’t have been easy to overrun the soldiers’ camp, unless there was foul play.

This episode No matter how you feel about Lori it rips out your heart and eats it for lunch Her speech to Carl was beautiful in a tragic sort of way It had to be Carl that killed her It’s his mom and it should be someone who loves you R.I.P. to T-Dog too.

No matter how many times I re-watch it, I still cry like a baby, but sobbed my heart out the first time round.😭 It was sad to see T-Dog go out like that in such a gruesome way, but gave what was left of his life to save Carol. Then the Governor trying to manipulate Merle again telling him that Woodbury couldn't stand/cope without him - he wants to control Merle.🙄 Great acting by (Sarah Wayne Callies) who plays Lori, her & Carl's interaction was so sad and emotional, I remember thinking the same thing as you guys did, the baby better not die after all this. Fast forward that next scene in the courtyard when mid-sentence Rick's telling the group he's going back into to look for the others and hears the cry of the baby then turns, drops his axe and starts walking towards Maggie then pacing sideways was brilliant acting as he asks "Where is she", and Maggie tries to stop him from going in and seeing Lori's dead body, he walks past her then abruptly stops next to Carl and put his hands to his eyes and starts crying,😢 that was so so terrible and then Rick turns and looks at Carl with his hands on his hips and sees Carl standing there with the gun in his hand looking broken and cold trying not to cry not looking at his dad, then Rick leans forward bending down with his hands on his thighs for a couple of seconds looking at Carl standing sideways on Rick realising that Carl had to put his own mother down and as he stands up he starts crying and wailing " Oh no No...Noooo!", then Glenn consoles Maggie sobbing, then that last "Oh...!"💔 before a heartbroken, sobbing Rick collapses to the ground reeling in grief.😢💔💔😭😭😭 To this day and beyond I will NEVER understand how the actor Andrew Lincoln/Rick didn't win an Emmy Award🏆 for that masterpiece of a performance/acting, it was simply pure perfection.💯🤌🏽✨️ RIP Lori Grimes RIP Theodore "T-Dog" Douglas [We'll forget about that prisoner 'Andrew' the cause of their deaths.]

I came here to see you cry in this episode. I loved the reaction. I watched this show in 2017 frantically. This was the first scene that made me really cry and I wasn't expecting T-DOG's death, much less Lori's death and the way it happened. So, I'm not one to cry with sobs, but that's what happened to me, because the scene was very realistic and well constructed and acted. And I've seen several more brutal deaths on the show, but they cause more anger than sadness. This episode causes absolute sadness. And what is Andrew Lincoln, my God? This is one of his best performances.

its so crazy how the one who plays lori was on prison break for 4 seasons from i think 2005 to 2009 1 year before going onto the walking dead and in this episode her dying in a prison in this show but working in a prison on another before this lol

Late to the party but still saw you watch this calamity. Lori dying sets me crying but that flash back of Rick talking to Carl... I think I can make it then Ricks breakdown followed by Rick falling and the view of Carl. No one in consoling Carl.

I despise Lori but this episode still gets me every time. Especially when Carl hugs her on the floor. Besides Rick's guilt at how he acted towards Lori, Carl also talked and acted hostile to her for a while. So he's also wrestling with a lot of guilt, for similar reasons as Rick. I found y'all a few days ago and decided to watch these, despite the TWD playlist order being wonky. You had me the moment Hunter used "wary" correctly. 🥲 I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Hello 👋 Another awesome video, 👍👍 Sarah Wayne Callies did an awesome job with Lori’s character, but this was an excellent performance by Sarah, 🙂 No matter how many times I see this episode, it always gets the tears rolling, 😪 RIP Lori, TDog and possibly Carol, 😪 I was a wee bit upset with Rick when seeing Andrew, especially knowing he led the Walkers in, just my personal opinion, when Andrew ran into that courtyard, after Rick killed Tomas, and seen all the Walkers which made him run back to the gate Rick closed, I personally thought Rick should have held him there until the Walkers got him, he and Tomas were pure evil, 👍😏 I had no doubts about who Oscar would shoot, loved how he paused long enough for Rick to realize he had been wrong about him before he shot Andrew, 😏😁 My first thought on the Guv’na’s ‘concrete evidence’ was to mean whatever info Meryl can glean from Andrea and she already told Meryl what she knew and Meryl knew the Guv’na knew, 😏 Great call on the Guv’na’s reasons for not bringing stronger minded people to Woodbury, 👍👍 Have a safe and wonderful weekend, 👋😀👋

Well, here it is. The end of Lori. I hated her for what she put Rick through but I never wished for her death. Poor Carl man. That's the worst. To lose a parent at that age not to mention in a world like this. Only one death in this series was worse then Lori's. Almost quit after this episode but definitely quit after the hardest death (s08e09).

Whole episode is getting kicked in the huevos rancheros over and over in increasing increments until you get feeling pretty scrambled. Yeesh

I felt bad for Carl and Rick that’s it. I’ll always be a Lori hater, she gets no sympathy from me. I’ve always wanted to know how Andrew got away and where the hell did he get those tools? Anyway he dead. May he rot in hell. R.I.P. T Dog. Only good thing about Woodsbury was seeing Michonne. Andrea is flirting with danger but you go on girl you do you.
