Noah Reid (Patrick) conveys so much with his eyes, without saying anything. Exasperation and amusement, sarcasm and love at the same time… Dan Levy’s defensive, neurotic and fragile David is also spot on! Great acting from both actors!

what i love about them and their relationship was Patrick is not sexualized or muscular looking in the show unlike any other gay couple. they are both sexy and good looking without having a topless scenes or showing off their body and i love that for them.

I'm kind of obsessed with the choice to always put Patrick in a shade of blue and David in black/white.

The proposal scene was so beautifully written, this show was so good.

David’s hiking sweater makes me think he would be sweating like crazy, these two are so sweet. They went through a lot of things that relationships do, David is brave and for the most part puts himself out there, Patrick is such a solid foundation. What a wonderful portrayal of a loving couple working through problems and communicating. A lot of people don’t communicate well at all.

I’ll manifest this here… I’m 37, single, lonely but I believe that One day I’ll find my patrick too… It’ll come. It’ll happen.

I started the show being turned off by the name. Silly I thought. But I watched. The more I watched the more I fell in love with all the characters. But Patrick and David’s love story was the emotional core of this wonderfully hilarious written show. Turned out to be my favorite show ever. And Patrick and David’s love story was one of the best ever written for tv. Love has no boundaries. Whether it’s straight or gay. Love IS LOVE!

I love how this relationship was played out to be 'normal'. Before anyone jumps all over me what I mean by that is, no humans were injured in the making of this relationship. I hope at least some haters watched and realized this. I hope at least some haters realized maybe, just maybe, they are the problem. Look how beautiful it is when there is no hate. Everyone around David and Patrick was ok with their love. No one threw a rock through the store front window. Patrick's parents loved their son unconditionally. This is how the world is supposed to be. Maybe the world will be like this some day when all the haters realize that love, compassion, acceptance and live and let live, is the meaning of life.

This is, was and forever will be best of all series I have watched. I cried when this was on tv. Every episode was fun and welldone.

Patrick is so adorable I’m so happy David found someone to love. I honestly wished we could’ve gotten just 1 more season because I wanted to see the newlyweds in their new home. This show made me LAUGH & CRY at times. I guess I will just have to keep watching it OVER & OVER😁

this is my 8th time watching this because i wanna keep holding on to the hope that i will experience something like this some day.

Who watched the series to the end because of Patrick like me? We need more gay characters like him on TV/movies. I'm sick of the stereotypical clichés gay characters (like David here, I know he's pan). Gay men are not always into luxury and glamour. Or crazy about divas and actresses, hate sports, constantly playing love-game with their partners, wearing weird clothes, witty, and sassy. Give us a regular people who are gay just like Patrick here!
