I must say I have a new respect for you and other breeders. My dog just had a litter of 13 Wednesday, i was only prepared for 5 or 6 at the most, and its probably THE most stressed ive been in my 27 yrs of living. I've learned in 4 days that you have to really love this to do it for a real living which I'm most def not😂. I keep telling people "im not trying to breed, i just have a dog who got knocked up" lol .. Kudos to you! And congratz!

Squishy faces! ❤ EDIT: About the Rottweiler in the American lines, I have recently become kind of obsessed with r/doggydna on Reddit and some people occasionally post their Cane Corso who they got tested for health reasons, only for the results to come back with a small percentage of Rottweiler and they genuinely had no idea that the American line Corsi tend to be mixed with Rottie. I mostly followed the subreddit because of all the uppity people who still somehow believe shelter dogs are healthier with less inbreeding only to find their shelter mutt (although mixed with like 10 breeds) is in fact the result of three straight generations of full sibling to sibling breeding, something an ethical breeder of purebreds would never do lol also the mixes are in fact not always healthier and often return poor health test results. They drank the Kool-Aid unfortunately.

Not knowing the terminology in English, I was about to ask if pointed means like what you have in Rottweilers and Dobermanns, so okay yeah, that's that, lol. Since the Rottweiler is a German breed, whose roots go back to somewhere in the roman empire (if I remember that correctly) I wouldn't be surprised if that breed was used in the European lines at some point as well. Definitely good looking puppies.

I have a question! What is your process in regards to someone being interested in 1 of your adult dogs instead of a puppy (whenever you decide that you're going to re-home the dog)? Is the process the same or is it slightly different?

yeah i feel points are like straw in corso where it happens but its not desirable so its a fault and shouldnt be purposely bred for not to say you cant breed a pointed dog but to breed out the pointing is what is wanted. I wouldnt be surprised if there wasnt european line rotties or even gsd or other mastiff breed put into the old european corsi that caused the color combination...it would also explain why i've seen many with american lines not have points at all then import a european corso and suddenly have a bunch of points. genetics are very interesting for sure.

The reason im asking is i dont know if you have geard of doggy daddy the guy with all those black german Shepards but hes got a problem with a so called breeder anout a puppy that he saved from a person who abandoned the dog in a car an Uber and he took the dog and fed it looked after it but know theso called breeder wants his pup back and hes having a problem as to whos in the right or wrong but we all told him to lawyer up but the breeder says he wants his.pup back in his program but how does ( DD) prorect his rights as to proving that he saved this dog from any type of harm and he feels the dog belongs to him because he saved the dog from starvation or a cruel existence to a bad owner abusing him further, but who knows where he would be if it wasnt for doggie daddy taking care of him !?? But what proof doesand what right does the so called breeder have to the pup what ptoof does he have to have to prove that this pup came from his line!?? And is there any way you could mabey talk to him to see what can be done to help him with how he can legally be able to keep the pup mabey just see if you can give him some insight as to what his options are to being able to lefally keep the pup he doest know really what to do hes got a big following nut is just unsure what his rights are and what a breeders rights are!? Is. There any way you could gelp with this in any way !?? Hes got videos out of how and what it all began and who was all involved but mavey if yournot to busy you could have a look at it and send him a message or something , !??
