Sophie has been dubbed as Charles’ “secret weapon” for the way that she appears to live a normal life whilst carrying out plenty of charity work.
This documentary reveals her early life growing up in a Kent village and how she met Prince Edward through her job in PR, and recounts the difficulties she faced from the paparazzi when she became his girlfriend.

Yay for Sophie! As someone who experienced infertility and pregnancy loss, I appreciate the light she shined on the topic-and on EMS, as well. She's 2 months older than I, and our children are much the same age. I feel a warm connection to her, am glad that she has two little ones to love, and admire her stoicism and work ethic; it's such a contrast to the poor discipline and self-pity of other more celebrated royals.

Sorry, but I still believe Princess Catherine is absolutely essential to the British monarchy. They need to step up their support for her, especially Camilla, who can never outshine the late Queen Elizabeth 111. Sophie can never supplant Princess Catherine either, no matter how much we like and respect her. Sophie has found her place in the RF and although overlooked in the past, has been in her correct place now. It was wonderful to see how charming Princess Catherine and Princess Charlotte again. They are sorely needed now, more than ever!!!!

Princess Catherine and Duchess Sophie get along extremely well. There is no rivalry between them because there is absolutely no need. They both know exactly what their roles are and what they need to do. This program was just to give Duchess Sophie a well deserved accolade.
