@@davyman2000i mean depends on how they handle the hardware I’ve seen some hefty games ported to switch with a pretty consistent 30 fps it’s no smooth 60 fps but still playable we just have to see the reviews when it releases and how they handle fixes

@@magnomliman8114 But there's no guarantee it's KCD2. Dan Vavra has left, he was the main designer and script writer and warhorse is now owned by another studio. Even if it is KCD2, it won't be as good without him. Let's hope he will come back or at least it will be something big, and not some small project.

Ports like this are often handled by 3rd parties that specialize in doing so. I doubt this slowed down the KCD2 development whatsoever.

I don't know if warhorse studio is making KCD 2 or something else. You need to give them time and not pressure the studio to release quickly. It is correct to give them the time they need and not rush anything

Pretty interested to see how this runs. Saber Interactive know a thing or two about miracle ports (including The Witcher 3) and they've already ported CryEngine games to the Switch (mainly the Crysis games). Although KC:D does have a bad reputation for performance, its issues on other platforms weren't *entirely* due to hardware limitations. Saber Interactive have proven themselves capable of maximizing what the Switch's antiquated tech can produce. Regardless of how this port ends up, it's incredible to see SI take on ANOTHER "impossible port." Let's just hope this is their final boss, if not for our sake than for their sanity!

So how did Kingdom Come end up coming to Switch? Turns out an administrative accident forced their hands. Some fans might remember the debacle that happened last year when the announcements for Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition in Japan made it look like the game was coming out for Switch. According to Stolz-Zwilling, this happened because someone “likely ticked the wrong box in Japan.” However, at that time, Warhorse was not considering a Switch port. The confusion caused so much buzz around the idea of KC:D coming to Switch that it forced Warhorse’s hand into following through. At E3 Stolz-Zwilling jested that after the error in Japan “we started to think ‘there’s a lot of interest, there’s a lot of buzz’… [people] seem to want Kingdom Come: Deliverance on the Nintendo Switch’… and now here we are”

I hope this sells well so Warhorse gets more funding to create the sequel to the greatest masterpiece of all time. It would be nice to at least get some kind of written announcement to let us know KC2 is in development though even If there is nothing to show, but I am confident that KC2 will be another generation defining masterpiece just like KCD, I still play this game for hundreds of hours regularly, all the DLC and side quests make this game infinitely playable. It truly is the best game ever made. We are counting on you guys
