Ok... Question: I know, that one of the "towers"/"keeps" has a staircase on the outside and that you can climb on top. But... *can you go into the other one?* Is there a pathway trough the inside of the rocks? Because there are no (visible) stairs.

I was at Malešov (one of the castles in the trailer) several times because the Czech Witcher fan community used to organize photoshoots for The Witcher cosplayers there every year and I have a costume of An Craite warrior so I was invated there in 2019 for the first time.

​@@slinkywheel7535 I think they meant when, for example, Bethesda announced Skyrim and Fallout 4 the same year they released. You're definitely right about newer Bethesda, though. I can't believe it is almost 6 years since they announced TES6 and it still has no gameplay trailers or other news. It probably won't release until at least next year, probably 2026.

It's nice to see that Poles love KCD while we Czechs love The Witcher 🙂 I want to visit Trosky, Malešov, Kutná Hora and Bohemian Paradise as well this year and hopefully make videos about the locations their history and some local legends.

I live in Prague czechia and i was there to visit the places from KCD 1 its about 1 hour drive (or about 3 days on horse with hans) and i was actually able to walk around only from the stuff i know from game its actually really similar 😀 even pubs and other places are on the same place as they are in the game

On my current playthrough I (intentionally) used charisma to persuade him. I missed out on fun times, but at least I'll get the Virgin achievement!

Yeah, my first two playthrough did. Next playthrough i deliberately didnt train my speech and was filthy and clothe poorly.

Its a bit difficult to choose exactly way you want on joystick and you need to get used to it at consoles so thats maybe why, it should be easier for new players or not very clever olayers😂 At first we all had some problems dto handle it correctly but when you learn i dont know how 4 ways system would be😅

I am really worried this will ruin the combat for me. Hopefully it's possible for a modder to restore the combat from the original in the event it is no fun.

directional swinging barely even mattered lets be honest, except for feints, which the AI tend to ignore. i enjoy this games combat but holy shit its so fundamentally broken. devs need to take a few more cues from mordhau, sekiro, chivalry. those games deliver actual depth rather than the illusion of it. even mount and blade has more consistent combat than this game. we should be able to attack from any direction but im hoping a choice like that is for the good of the overall combat system, which in the first game only exists as a shadow of what it could be.

@@vain.a2 yeah realistically it was more of a choice between 2, maybe 3 directions depending on the situation, and often times it didn't matter at all which direction you swing from. especially since the only time it matters which direction you hit from is also the only time you're forced to use only one direction, and it's in the only boss fight in the entire game, where runt has massive armor stats but no helmet at all (unless you play in hardcore). also the system of combos being tied to direction took all the depth out of directional combat anyway, since you were just doing stuff in the same sequence. i honestly still like the combat in KCD1, at least when it's a one-on-one since group fights are a huge mess in that game, but I don't think I'll miss the extra swing direction. especially since slashing gets a lot more love in that system than stabbing, but you wouldn't be slashing at a fully armored knight anyway, you'd be trying to poke at him to get your sword into a gap, which is why swords fell out of favor anyway.

@@jmgonzales7701 Since KCD1 I've wanted to see them do a game in the same immersive and realistic style but in a setting like ancient Greece, Egypt, Rome or somewhere in Asia. While I'm excited for KCD2 and happy they go to fulfill their vision I'd like to see the same treatment to another setting

@@noamias4897 a realistic first person RPG set in ancient rome would be so cool. I don't think there's been one yet honestly, all of the games set in that period tend to be strategy games.

that ruins the realism, kingdome come is very realistic and fighting 1 guy alone is hard let alone more than 1.

@@jmgonzales7701 Fighting more than 1 person should definitely be very hard, but in KCD1 it's hard for the wrong reasons. For instance, it's not that you get overpowered, but rather, the auto-lock wouldn't lock on to the correct enemy unless you turn your back to the battle to reset it. That's anything but "realistic" combat.

@@jmgonzales7701 yes i agree that fighting multiple enemies should be difficult, but the way it was done in KCD1 was so janky and awful to play because the lock on system simply wasn’t designed to be able to handle anything other than a duel. There’s ways to make things both challenging and fun at the same time, and KCD1 multiple enemy combat was just one of those things unfortunately.

HC mode was amazing. my second playthrough of the game was with all hc perks and it was very fun game

What? Not only was KCD1 their first game with like 25 people, while they had no money at all and needed a kickstarter etc. but they literally said that KCD2 is finished and they are working only on fixing bugs and the like, which they already have in control. That is why they also release it in a few months. They have the experience from the first game which uses the same engine, detaiils and more, and have like 250 people working on it.
