I love how this normally sweet, almost demure little thing who looks like she isn't even 5 feet tall is the most aggressive, ferocious fighter of the bunch, basically attacking in a constant berserker fury with her sweet voice coming in what are basically snarls and near-ROARS...

Even though I wish we got her true form from 358/2 in this fight, I think her main mechanic is actually really interesting. She was made to absorb the memories of Roxas and Sora, her existence was weakening Roxas over time, so it makes sense that she can wear down your max health.

I don't know if it was intentional but it's a nice touch that the Oblivion keyblade is being used here. According to the 358 days manga, the Oblivion keyblade is technically Xion's keyblade.

The best part is getting your ass kicked in Beginner Mode, laughing, healing and then realising your HP bar is ¼ of what it was before. I love this boss.

Out of everyone, she's the most fun and enjoyable boss fight in the game.

For those of you saying Xion’s fighting style is reminiscent of Roxas’, that’s because it *IS* Roxas’ fighting style. To a T. Canonically, Xion adopts Roxas’ combat prowess with one Keyblade. Given that she was meant to absorb Roxas’ abilities, powers and eventually become a legitimate Replica of Sora, it stands to reason she has the powers of BOTH Keyblade Wielders. Do not imagine Roxas based on this Xion. This IS Roxas’ style. Xion made Roxas’ style her own. Roxas developed his own fighting style, defaulting to two Keyblades as seen in the fights he’s featured in. What you *should* imagine is XION with two Keyblades. THAT would be absolutely sick. Imagine if she developed her OWN style. Might I add that Roxas is quite literally the ONLY Keyblade Wielder who can proficientlly wield two Keyblades for as long as he wants canonically?? Like damn dude.

I never had a favourite boss but Xion was amazing she became my favourite altho i did die to her more then yozora but she still is amazing even after i finished the fight i went back to fight her again u did a great job this vid will help me do a no damage with her :)

Did you ever get sick of the OST during your attempts? I know i never got sick of it.

Holy shit once you do this method and practice enough she becomes so easy! Only reason I say that is because if you follow this method she does the EXACT same moves in 1 specific order. The only time she breaks the rhythm is if you get hit or you're attacking at the wrong time. She's not like other bosses where every time you counter a move, theres like 4 different moves they could lead with and its RNG. Thanks for this Will!!
