I don't care if he's a descendant of Ceasar or not, im loving noa so far as a character and i hope this movie lives up to the hype so we can get more of them!! I'm also glad Ceasar will be mentioned, he certainly can't be forgotten in this lol Noa's "together strong" is going give a new meaning to the franchise. May 10 please arrive faster!!

agree 100% meme. it makes no difference to me about the relationship between these apes and the last three movies. i was actually thrilled to find out that this movie is set 300 years since 'war'. now this means that the apes have developed their own cultures and clothes and societies. beyond excited, and i will be one of the first in the line for the matinee on may 10th. will you? lol love and peace to you and all, xxxxxxx

If you haven't yet seen the original (1968, featuring Charlton Heston), it's well worth seeing. Then you can appreciate the Easter eggs in Kingdom. :-) Plus, the original's fantastic. Beneath's worth seeing afterwards, and before Kingdom, too.

@@kevincobble934 What did you not like about it? Beneath was creative. Too many sequels are dull but Beneath wasn't. It was suspenseful, too. Granted, it lacked Roddy McDowell, but many folks didn't notice the difference. And there was jut enough Charlton Heston in there to thrill fans of the original movie. That said, the movie's perhaps an "acquired taste" meaning one has to adapt one's senses to appreciate it adequately. I found it depressing when I first viewed it. I had no idea (as a kid) that there could nevertheless be more Apes movies. Thank you Dr. Milo. :-)

Worldbuilding of the planet of the apes: The main protagonist of the original trilogy and the main protagonist of the new movie look alike. No. The main trilogy’s events and the new movie’s events are set hundreds/thousands of years apart and aren’t related. They just look alike because why not. It’s “cool”! The protagonist of the original trilogy is cool. So the protagonist of the new movie “had to be also cool”. Shut up it’s “cool” Our ape characters look alike 🐵🙈🙉🙊
