Kinda unfortunate that, unlike Mario Golf Super Rush, this game doesn't contain an oddly sexual fanfiction; HAL Labs should've been bolder, considering Kirby can literally float close to the sun with no worries since he has no wings I've really only played this game with a friend once, but I thought it was fun as hell, also 2:08 yeah this game's graphics do look quite nice, I'm pretty sure it's just a really effective isometric view though, no Mode 7 or anything

Interestingly, there is a free roam - timeless and non-competitive - City Trial in Kirby Air Ride, where all the cars start in one spot, in which I and a couple others would basically do GTA RP in when we were young.

game suggestion: five nights at freddy's pizzeria simulator. To avoid jumpscares, don't salvage animatronics, don't buy things marked down, and don't buy Lefty. There will be no jumpscare gameplay if you follow those guidelines.

I fully agree the Air Ride city trial is all but made for just weird collaborative goofing and roleplay, as a kid I remember having a load of fun with that.

Just for reference, the Grumps level pack counts as a separate game and you are allowed to play that as well.

You guys should do Grump's Dream course as well. It's a fanmade modded version of the game that I think would be considered *technically* a different game. It's got a ton of custom courses and Game Grumps references

if you get really desperate for games: Darkest Dungeon - Jacob would love this one because it is just Nuzlocke: The Video Game the sega mega drive collection on steam has a ton of old sega games (a lot of them are bad but some are fun like Altered Beast, Ricostar, Golden Axe, Comix Zone, etc.) and they're cheap too Clone Drone in the Danger Zone - perfect game for Jo, no dialogue, no cutscenes, just a rougelike about slicing robots as a robot with sick movement the retro games are super charming so out of all of these the SMD collection would be the coolest imo but getting Jacob into a darkest dungeon binge right before darkest dungeon 2 comes out would be my perfect level of toxicity

Their is a free play mode in air ride where you can runaround the map with no time limit. All the vehicles spawn under the center of the map in a garage like set up. But they legendary machines and events don’t spawn.

Kirby Air Ride does have a free ride mode that lets you explore the city trial world without a time limit, so the dreams of a Kirby car dealership can be a reality

I know it doesn't work for Gold this year, but I would love you guys to play more of this, is just so much fun to watch (as it was with GG back in the day)

There is a way to not have a time-limit in Air ride, it's called Free-run, is on the main menu of City Trial

I love Kirby’s dream course, it’s one of my favorite spin offs in the series.

I really hope that eventually, Meta Rad and KirbSniffy try out PS2 classics such as Magic Pengel and Graffiti Kingdom. Literally nobody seems to know about those games existences, which is a shame considering they're a fucking rabbit hole of traits that you'd think would make it more well known. (Such as Studio Ghibli's involvement in Magic Pengel, ZUN working on Graffiti Kingdom's music, or hell even the fact Charles Martinet voices one of the villains in the story!) Not to mention its unique gameplay of being able to actually physically draw the monsters you play the game as, or use in battle (depending on the game), and its """"top notch"""" voice acting.

You should play Sonic Robo Blast 2. Sonic fangame from 1998 that's built on top of Doom. It plays like a classic Sonic game in 3D, and it's probably the best 3D Sonic game. It's actually insane how polished it is.
