STOMP was literally the breakthrough song that allowed young christians to enjoy praise and worship. I was a teenager when it was released & baaabbaaaay them old saints wasn't having it. LOL! We NEEDED/NEED Kirk!!!

I have loved Kirk since I was 13 or 14 yrs old. I wanted to be the female version of him 😂 I know his story well and even though I wasn't adopted, I know what it is to not have a father around and not really be or feel loved by the one who helped bring u into this world. All the insecurities he felt and still feels, I felt and feel too. And I am now in my mid-forties. I pray that he gets the healing he needs and allows his biological father to have a place in his life. I pray he forgives his biological mother and the wounds she caused are healed. But remember, just because we forgive doesn't mean we have to have a relationship with the one who hurt us. Real talk. 💯 Praying for u @Kirk Franklin 🙏🏻 Love u my big little brotha 💜

I'm so grateful for Kirk and thank you Sherri for having him on your show. Kirk's music helped me through some hard times. When I saw him at Brooklyns king's theater he made it his business to stop take photos and hug everyone who wanted to see him. He did a full 3 hour show with all the energy he has in his videos and then when I finally got to say hi get my hug and take my photo with him it was after midnight. He was so gracious and just full of love and compassion. I just love him. Kirk I'm glad you got to meet and love on your biological. I pray you get back to your son you both need one another.
