I take orders on the register and I serve food. I can’t tell you how many times my names been used in a complaint or I’ve had to deal with assholes based on the food that I had nothing to do with the preparation for. I’m gearing up to leave my job for college and at first I thought I’d be sad but these customers have pissed me off so much and now tip culture is being frowned upon on top of it, I’m relieved if anything to be leaving.

I’ve had serious food poisoning. I had dysentery for 6 weeks. I was in hospital for ages and it took 5 months before I started to feel better. The worst part for me was feeling ice cold for many weeks. People die from food poisoning.

Yes,Me too! 106 fever Salmonella Typhi. Went to a Mexican restaurant downtown L.A chicken enchiladas. It was absolutely horrifying. I spent a month in LAC USC Medical Center an IV in both arms.Liquid diet,until the blood infection subsided. When I got out I had to drop out of college. The chills and fever lingering for 6 months. I was 18 yrs old. I've had stomach problems all my life after eating chicken that marinated in it's own blood. No one should own a restaurant unless they know everything about proper storage,and cooking temperatures! It's very simple! 😢

It's very very common for mice and other pests to get poisoned, go somewhere randomly and then die. It doesn't mean Gordon planted it and it doesn't mean they aren't using an exterminator or are filthy people. Their issue is they are trying to claim he is faking it when if they watched any of his shows he has never done that before to anyone, there's little reason for him to anyways.

I used to watch this show religiously for the moments like these back in 2009. I worked at O'Charley's, they always were professional in food preparation and storage. My pet peeve is when these people put raw meat in a unprotected pan in the fridges under the grill and flat tops.The meat at the bottom of the pans tastes like metal from the natural process of oxidation. He don't take no crap, he tells it like it is,and he's witty and funny. That dude respects the animal that died so he makes sure to not waste the meat. He also is mindful of vegetarians which every chef should be like.

there's one episode of KN on which the waiter was chewing on his gum while serving food to chef Ramsay. he asked him if this was a normal behaviour for him, and the waiter stated it was ('I assume yes'). this really f*cked Mr. Ramsay off, and he noticed that the service was slow as well. I remember that this was the only episode Mr. Ramsay reported to the owner that the service was embarrassing and no good experience at all, understandably.
