The biggest producer in competitive yoyo strings is back. Kitty strings have undergone a rebrand and this is their latest launch in yoyo string tech. Have a watch of this yoyo string unboxing as I give my opinion on Kitty String Fat, Kitty String Normal & Kitty String XL.

Kitty String rules. I've been using the standard neon yellow for the past year. I feel like 100 strings last me FOREVER. I'm ordering my Outlier 3 next week. Huge fan, great review as always!

I’ve never tried the fat strings, but this video made me want to check them out. Glad they made them a bit softer, too. I’m starting to run out of mine, so can’t wait to try the new ones! Great video, super helpful!

I love how, I have both colourways of the Outlier you used in this stream. Also I'm a fan of Souchi Orange Fat as well as the old Yellow Kitty Fat

I got Kitty normal and I use the old Kitty normal pretty extensively. The new ones are actually just as rough as the old ones but they are much better at holding tension and whipping. They seem to last a bit longer as well. The loop also isn’t as tight so it’s easier to open and there’s less chance of the strands twisting in on itself. Overall, it’s better than the old one but it’s still too rough for my tastes.

I’ve got an outlier plus and a deviant on the way and I just got 100 pack of kitty normal (Japan) and 10 pack kitty fat (Japan) so I’m interested to see what I ended up using on. Good to know that you use the fat on the outlier. Will likely end up needing to order another hundred pack of the fat. I’m a big fan of Japanese products, so there was no question when I saw kitty had strings made in Japan.

Yo can you review plump seal strings? I’ve never played anything like them. Been using few strings for two years, still haven’t fully worn out!!!! They cost like 50¢

Dose the white XL or the Fat string work better with binds and regions? Tight binds are like everything to me! I am also currently playing with Sochi fat. How do they compare to the fat and XL string? Thanks!

I'm guessing you mean regens. And yup that's a good question! XL is definitely thicker and whips around quicker. I actually prefer Kitty fat though, I find it's just as grippy with the throw and holds its tension better. I've never tried Sochi Fat so I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference.

@@Sly9192 I like the old ones so much better. the new ones are more gripper so when you throw it the yoyo spins like much longer, which is nice, but doing to this gripper stuff on them, it feels really quite coarse at times and ive been finding myself getting random knots, it seems to at times grip the pad and cause a knot. i prefer the old ones. i ordered some new ones, maybe a bad batch idk, plus some iyoyo slackies for a back up.

To buy in bulk I feel Kitty String is a tad expensive. I use a plain 100% polyester.

for a string made in japan, 35 bucks is a deal for 100. These are the best strings I felt so far. if you want something made by someone who cares about what they do, because you’re using it for something you care about, and enjoy doing, it’s worth paying the price. Japanese products are made with honor.

I miss Slackies string, only have around 40 left and nobody sells it anymore. Going back to Kitty's once it's gone but will be looking for something else.

@@wonder8899 you should try plump seal strings, they’re insanely cheep but still feel very nice. Very boutique and fun. (They cost like 80¢ a string unlike bespoke which costs like $5 a string, also last longer)

I prefer Fat. If you want a super-fast string, go with XL. Fat is grippy holds its tension well but doesn't move quite as fast.

Yup, cut them to my belly button height. You can see me cut the first Kitty orange string.

Order some online its not that hard. You pay online not ask free string, I order 750 different string company with different rgb color.

Well this isn't yoyoing. Yoyo is repetitive. You're not repeating anything. You've outgrown yoyos. You've outgrown strings when you've developed dumb names like kitty fat etc. Obviously these strings aren't yoyo strings. Yoyo is repetitive toy game.

We're not interested in innovation in strings. Stop behaving like you're popular culture. You're not. You're on the extreme outer edges of culture. The women running the shops selling yoyos don't buy in your yoyos to sell. They don't buy in these strings either. You have a real problem with your hobby. You haven't impressed the middle women in charge of all the toy retailers.
