Loving your videos and creations! I’m not sure if I missed it, but where did you find the images for your covers? I would love to be able to buy some digital images. Vintage patterns in good shape are difficult to find in my area. Thanks!

Hi Julie! I use actual vintage sewing pattern envelopes to make my covers, not digital images. They are hard to find in person in my area, too, so I buy all of them online at either eBay or Etsy. The ones in better condition cost a little more. You can find digital images of these envelopes or the illustrations that are on them on Etsy, but digital images of them are legally not allowed to be sold. The illustrations on the envelopes were copyrighted and all of the major pattern companies are still around today (most are under 1 parent company now) so they hold the copyright. Hope that helps!! Thanks for your reply! Wondering if you use mod podge to attach them to card stock? Do you have a tutorial on how you make covers?

@@julieb8457 You are welcome!! I actually use double-sided tape to adhere the envelopes to cardstock! I am going to have a class coming out at my Kittywitty Academy teaching how I make these! I love everything in this video! I used to put the yarn in my daughters pony tails & pig tale hair do's when she was small.. I have not seen the yarn in years til now. I would love to use these in my grand-daughter's hair now! Where do you find this yarn?

Hi! I'm sorry I missed your comment last week! Well, the yarn we used in our hair is vintage, of course, but you can sometimes find it on ebay. I sometimes buy new yarn, but it's not exactly the same. I look for "bulky" or "chunky" yarn. One brand I like is London Kaye yarn. It's sold many places and should be easy to find in a Google search! It would look so cute in your granddaughter's hair! So fun!! xoxo
