Hike in the Kjerag mountain, high above Lysefjord. This is one of the most popular hikes in Norway. It reaches to Kjeragbolten, the famous bolder, stuck between two rocks 984 meters (3228 feet) above the fjord.

Something about Norway haunts me. The hard Grey stones in contrast to almost unreal green, all set to the same blue skies and ethereal fjords that brought the Norse people to the ends of the earth. Norway is where my soul lives.

Just beautiful. Back when I could hike, I would have loved to go here but would not stand on the bolt. That's too risky, I wonder how many people have fallen? At the same time go while you can! As we age we lose some of our balance. Don't take the music fits though, isn't that Spanish guitar?
@alicew3563
@alicew3563 5 жыл бұрын
Totally agree! VERY risky and all it takes is a split second of unbalance, then its all over. Considering our minds can play games with vision, ears etc you can easily get dizzy, especially after a rather hard hike. The landscape is of course breathtaking, but I do not understand why some risk their lives to have a cool picture taken of themselves..

@milosh9k
@milosh9k 10 жыл бұрын
Not sure about tours, I visited by rental car. May is quite early, they warn that the hike is tough and slippery if raining. The closest town is Lysebotn, but there is some driving involved from there, and to Lysebotn you can get by ferry from Forsand or Lauvik, the ferry schedules can be found on the web. And Stavanger is the major city in the area, I think there was an option to use ferry from there as well (to Lysebotn)
