So, I am starting another sketchbook. Can someone have too many sketchbooks? I don;t think so.

you would maybe enjoy the game "fae farm" a lot too. it's a fairy farming sim but all the anxiety inducing stuff from your typical farming sims are not included like for example rushing back home because the days are too short. it's actually really relaxing and cozy

You always make it seem so easy and effortless to draw people/faces - and even in different styles! And without using any kind of "guidelines" (like action lines, etc.). This is very impressive. I shall forever hope you might someday sell a sketchbook zine/artbook... It would be the best thing ever. Could you tell me which pen you're using for the background details at the end? It has such a beautiful lineweight 😩

I use Canson Imagine mix media, and also Illustration Bristol 200 & 250 g/m². The only quality that matches it in sketchbook format is Stillman & Birn Zeta series, but it's quite expensive. I'm still looking for a better value option for a sketchbook too.

Beautiful video as always ! Thx for the review, I put this sketchbook on my wishlist. I found the best sketchbook last year, but after 3 amazing ones … they changed the paper and now it’s horrible! I hate when companies do this !

@@Kloodwig the brand is Aurora, and it’s their a4 size bounded one. I buy this in Belgium, don’t know if you have in stores but don’t recommend it anymore. It’s around €12 here

Ich verstehe nicht, wie ich dir schon so lange auf Instagram folgen konnte, und nicht mitbekommen habe, dass du Deutsch sprichst. :D Verstehe das Problem mit den Sketchbooks total, ich habe einige die ich nie angefangen habe, weil ich sie nicht "verschwenden" will. Schönes Video, und dein Hund ist sehr süß!

Ich liebäugel schon seit einer Weile mit noch anderen Skizzenbüchern. Aber mal ganz ehrlich, wieviele braucht eine einziege Person schon. Wenn ich denn wenigstens eins mal fertig machen könnte...

Have you ever tried of considered using the Winsor and Newton Designers gouache?

I haven't tried it yet but I have heard good things about it. I have some gouache tubes from different brands that I don't use that often because it's inconvenient to me to prepare a palette. Maybe if I ever get more invested in using gouache I'll invest in better paints, but so far it's just something I like to play around with.

which Rune Factory are you playing currently? I played Rune Factory Tides of Destiny and Rune Factory Frontier. Been thinking about getting Rune Factory 5 but I wonder if it’s good.

I’ve used this sketchbook a lot and love it. However, if you are planning to use watercolor, don’t expect it to behave like normal watercolor. The paper can only handle 3 to 4 layers max and if you use too watery paint, the colors will become duller and granulation doesn’t show up well on this paper. Plan ahead, make as little layers as possible. For colored pencil, the paper is quite slippery so you can’t layer much, alcohol marker won’t bleed to the next page but it can bleed to the underside of the page. That being said, I love the sketchbook for watercolor, it take some time to get used to but the painterly watercolor marks make me keep using it.
