Knuckleball is one of the hardest shooting techniques to master, but with training anyone can achieve it. In this video I go through the basic steps on how to shoot a knuckleball but remember that there are many different way of doing it.
You can watch videos of KZfaqrs or pro footballers do it and copy them. I'm not the best at knuckleballs and I have a lot to learn to master the technique but with these steps you cam start learning even as a beginner.
I learned the knuckleball by simple watching few videos about it and then spending tens, even hundreds of hours on the pitch trying to get that same movement. You won't become a professional player with just sitting at home watching videos, you go out there and train. Same goes with the knuckleball.

Haven't played for 25 years, toward the end this was how I took almost all my shots... never seen it described so extremely spot on anywhere before... exact right boney part of the foot, spot on about locking your ankle and making everything tight, and zero follow through. If they had these resources when I played my shots wouldn't have been nearly as unique... Amazing job showing and describing, well done!

I'm sorry for the late answer but thank you so MUCH! There are many different ways of shooting the knuckleball but I guess we've had similar techniques together. I tried my best to explain that technique and hopefully people can learn something from it ❤⚽️

I figured this out long ago when I was a field goal kicker in high school when I had far more practice time to goof around. In the off season, I played soccer, but attributed what I knew about some tricks I learned when practicing on-side kicks for kick-offs. I used a short kick with practically zero follow through attempting to pull my foot to the side limiting contact with the ball and preventing any follow through. I was just trying to punch the soccer ball smack dab in the middle of the sweet spot with a chopping punch with my foot. Was kicking knucklers like Phil Niekro with little effort.

I am under the belief that some quantum entanglement occurs with the person kicking the ball and the ball because it would seem that the person has some control over the ball even after the ball is struck and is flying in the air. In any case, it's been a real joy and pleasure watching you hit that ball. Nice vid, and thanks for the upload.

Good hitting tehnique, but try to put the planting foot next tot the ball, not behind it. The center of the ball must go in the center of the planting foot for the best stability. Good job and hope it will be better 👍🏻

Must admit that much to my late fathers chagrin I was not a soccer player. My sport was always baseball and my father having been born in Italy and immigrated here at the age of 14 was naturally a little disappointed. He always supported me fully in baseball but he loved soccer. I just appreciate that soccer/football players call this a “knuckleball.”

My father used to play ice hockey professionally, my brother played hockey as well. I know how it feels when your family loves a specific sport and you choose another one. But like in my situation, I'm glad you found your own sport and that your father is supporting you. ⚾️ I haven't been much of a baseball guy myself but maybe I would just need to give it some more time.
