Nice videos to get started with KNX! I have a quick tip: To avoid forgetting to program a device after making changes, use the Dynamic Folders (on top of the Devices column on the left). There you find a folder containing Initial Devices (in need of a Download All) and Modified Devices, that can do with a Download Partial.

Why did you select the scene module? Can't we just use single with group address and add the objects to make a scene? What is this scene module used for?

Thanks for this. It was very clear. I've really appreciated all the KNX virtual videos you've produced. I have found many other resources about KNX/ETS either trivial or very tedious and difficult to quickly understand. There appears to be a dearth of easily accessible technical details about KNX/ETS. KNX has some great things going for it, but in many instances people who are doing home automation are not considering it because it's so difficult to understand and so protected by antiquated software models. KNX Virtual and your videos is a great source of information which fills a void. I would appreciate if you might do something which responds to the time of day. For example I am trying to understand how I might be able to use a motion sensor to turn a light on to 100% during the day and (say) 10% during the hours 11pm to 6am.
