If you ever question his greatness, just take a look at the scoreboard during most of these plays. He had to make these plays to be a winner so he just did it and made it look so easy. The left handed corner shot and behind the backboard shot were especially impressive to me.

Here’s the thing about Kobe. If you actually WATCHED him play then he’s undeniably one of the 5 greatest players to ever play the game. If you are a stat freak that only looked up numbers than you will put him outside the top 5 maybe top 10. Numbers don’t tell the whole truth and I was lucky enough to see his greatness live. He’s the GOAT imo, I haven’t seen a player as great as Kobe, respectfully I wasn’t born wen Jordan, magic and Bird were in their primes

I watched all those players and Kobe's Era. No offense but he's not top 10 all time. Shaq avg 32 pts and 12 reb in those Finals and got all 3 Finals MVPs. People sleep on Shaq as one of the greatest. I'd throw Hakeem Olajuwon in there too

@@OttoErotic69 I don’t list small players w bigs becuz it’s two completely different roles and skill sets. Shaq was in his prime while Kobe was approaching and even Shaq saw that Kobe was the best, words outta his own mouth

You know what else made him a legend? His undying loyalty to the Lakers. Kobe was a Laker for his entire pro career. You cannot get anyone who are willing to stay with one team through their entire sports career like him....

as a phoenix fan, some of his most iconic moments came against us. BUT THAT NASH CALL WAS A CHARGE RIP to the god though

I remember the commentators thought it was a charge, too. Nash is definitely outside the circle. But it looks like kobe jumps before nash is set. It's at least close enough that the call could have gone either way.

Unbelievable. Not gonna lie…I never liked Kobe until the last 4 years or so of his career. I always thought he was arrogant, but I wasn’t paying attention. He was a legend and he knew it. When he died, my entire family was visiting, and I was outside smoking a cig, messing with my phone when I read the news. I immediately walked in my house and told my family, and we were all devastated, except my parents bc they’re immigrants 🤣🤣🤣 RIP, Legend.

there will NEVER be another like him. imo he is the goat and was never a jordan clone. kobe had my style to his game and movement and the mamba mentality is one of a kind. KOBE BEAN BRYANT. THE GREATEST TO EVER DO IT AND ILL DIE ON THIS HILL. he was an once in a life time artist that im so thankful i was lucky enough to grow up watching... and if u dont think so then just watch how he controls his body in the air and how he makes split second adjustments the way he does while in the air and that ALONE should tell u

Living in Los Angles, and coming up a die hard Laker fan, I had the incredible fortune to see almost every one of these plays live. No athlete, in any sport, has ever more consistently simply blown my mind like Kobe. He'd have games where he'd have more highlight reel type plays than many players would have in a season.
