I think this goes to show how incredible of an actor Alex is. When I first saw this, I thought it was real. Hands down, Alex is a very skilled actor, including a fantastic photographer.

I'm fairly new to Vikings, the show that launched Alex's career and I must say, I'm massively impressed by the production and the cast. His Portrayal as the ruthless Ivar the Boneless (Or Ivar the God, if you're nasty) is just so intense, visceral and amazing, it really is like being thrown into the middle of a crazy and brutal viking world over 1200 years ago. The show is amazing and the acting is phenomenal.

Fascinating if you want an education of that particular time in Norway, Ireland, Scotland & england. Its on RTÉ (our national broadcasting channel).

IVAR was and IS one of my all time best parts of viking, how you could display such ruthlessness, yet seem so calm and collected at the same time, while also giving us a hint of *it bothers you but must be done*. It's so weird watching this now after seeing Marco and Alex in their more recent appearances on HBO Nordic, where Marco is the most talkative and at ease I'd ever seen him in any interview, while Alex seems to be channeling a calmer, more subdued character in comparison. I just find that contrast so weird, so admirable, and also a true testament to just how good these guys are at their craft~! We're on extended quarantine and this has been appearing on my KZfaq feed and recs lately (like I haven't watched this enough times already 😜). It's always a treat to laugh at this dorky Alex's antics though, and poor Marco's wordless reactions to him 😂 Stay safe, everyone~!

I speak English, Irish, and Spanish, and a bit of German. I could understand some of what they were saying, though, just because of cognates and similarities in sentence structure. Plus now there are English subtitles for what I didn't get. I don't think there is any one language that is best, but I do agree that we should all learn to speak more than just our native tongue. Languages are beautiful and crucial to our understanding of the world we live in.
