Just bought a 1998 Kompact Kamp yesterday. The fiberglass body and canvas still look new. I have never towed anything before. The hour drive home was a breeze. I can't wait to try it out!!

This is a cool little tent camper idea! Those that thought of a small lightweight camper that can be pulled either by a motorcycle or car and still be very efficient to setup and pull get my appreciation for building and designing something that anyone can setup! Thanks!

I got mine in March of this year and I have camped 18 times this summer including a trip to Missouri (from South Dakota). It tows great and sets up fast. Every detail seems to have been meticulously considered. One night I camped through a severe thunderstorm and it held up great with not the slightest of a leak. i cannot say enough good about this camper. It has been a game changer for my motorcycle camping experience. I absolutely love it! I would also add that the staff that builds it for you are super helpful. I have called on several occasions and gotten immediate help or advice with what I was dealing with. If you are researching motorcycle campers look no further.

would be nice to have a model similar to this for 4 wheeler camping, would need a bit more ground clearance as well as a skid plate and wheeler tires , that would be great for me

Do they accept payments? Is there a video showing awning setup? I am also going to carry like a little tiny table that I could set up inside there like when we want to have meals etc 🙂

I love this! The review would be so much more enjoyable with out the background sound that is maybe supposed to be music? It's very distracting and at times drowns out the voice presentation. It was so irrirating. But I really do love this little camper.

With just those two poles supports and how high it is, it doesn't look like it would be very strong and stable in high wind area, like Kansas which can blow very hard at night.

35+ years without a single reported case of wind damage. There are tie down spots, but they are rarely used except for a few cases of strong winds/storms in the Kansas area!

They only come in a white gel coat finish, but can be custom painted by any local body shop.

Cyclist are building really cheap campers too tour around on. There basically looking to sleep, eat, stay warm,dry and travel lightly.

Just get a small trailer for all your camping gear. It would be better with a nicer tent.

But with a tent you'd have to also have a folding cot if you don't want to sleep on the ground.And easier for critters to creep and crawl into a tent that's sitting on the ground.

Too much work! I’d rather have a teardrop trailer! They used to make them to be towed by motorcycles! Build your own, there was an article in Poplar Mechanics magazine back in the day!

Teardrops are significantly heavier and larger to tow and yet have less interior space than our Mini Mate camper when set up. We also provided standing room with 6’4” headroom where a Teardrop small enough for a motorcycle is only 4’ high with no standing room available.

A bigger tent inside a backpack??? I doubt that. You can't store anything in a packed up tent. Your not off the ground in a tent. And lastly, your comment wasn't really needed. If you want to sleep in a tent, then just go and do it. But of course, you just had to give your 2 cents of criticism, we get it.
