It was ALMOST great. The SECOND you said the QCR/PSR card would be from a Nostalgia lot, I died inside. Depending on what they consider Nostalgia (Which, I imagine in at most GX cards,) we're doomed. This product is going to lose out on BOTH crowds.

Personally I would love to see Kalut the Moon Shadow among the nostalgic QCSRs. Flexing in the middle of the Damage Step in Edison sounds like peak Yu-Gi-Oh.

Unlike other TCGs, YGO doesn't have a set rotation While it depends on what the set list is of the "boomer" cards, any card that has seen play over the course of this games history, getting a rarity upgrade is a good thing, in my opinion. It's one of this game's charms where any card could be useful at any time, so getting easier access and varied rarities is only a good thing.

When i eventually start playing in the tcg these could be the way to get staples easily

With the right cards till set can be amazing and my wallet will hate me if thats the case haha i spend a lot on RC1 and RC2. I would love to see Cyber Dragon Nova + Infinity, Upstart Goblin, Chicken Game, Kash Fenrir, Saronir/Druiswurm and Lubellion, Harpyies Feather Duster, Raigeki, Rai-Oh. I'm not sure how they gonna handle cards that are going to be in the tin, but there are plenty of great cards aswell that could be in here like S:P, Thrust, Horus cards, Dis pater, Chaos Angel etc. Personally i would love to see a few pend cards (wont happen) and some dino cards included too.

Will this bring the (as of now) japan exclusive PP reprint cards? cards like Time Wizard, Goddess of Whim, Cosmo Queen, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and of course my favourite SENGENJIN have all had quarter century prints over there, will they be coming here? I really do want those nostalgic cards.

This new Bonanza set will lure in new/returning players just like RA01. It's also strategically placed during the "gift giving" season just like RA01 so people will have more money in their pockets. I hope that the nostalgia cards aren't some super old random Lv4 vanilla monster like Axe Raider or some shit like that. I hope it is something that was originally printed a decade or so ago but it is still being played today. Great example is Yubel. Originally printed in 2008 but it is still being played today and its highest rarity is just an Ultimate Rare. Another one would be Red Dragon Archfiend. Released in 2008, highest rarity is Ghost Rare and it is still being played.

Honestly I'm not even sure what cards I'd want to pick up there are that haven't already been QCR, Lunalight Leo Dancer would be rad as hell but I'm not holding my breath on that, so maybe just a Starving Venom Fusion Dragon or some shit, I really don't know what else to look for

I think the ration sounds insane. If i am lucky a pull a different "luxury rare" card in every pack, I would have pulled 200 packs, thats 800 cards from the 72 card pool! It should be the other way around, we will end up with those same 72 cards in piles of trash

I'm more afraid this is going to be more like RC2 than RC1. Unfocused, mostly low effort filler, with a couple of good things to make it seem worthwhile. Rarity Collection should be special, but like Mega Packs and Battles of Legend, it's highly likely it's just another vehicle for reprints they will beat into thr ground.

Actually the inverse here, more QCRs pulled per box will decrease the overall value because they will be less rare! You'll be pulling 18 or 24 per box minimum not counting the other slots meaning 12-14 boxes to pull all QCRs and that is not rare at all!

I imagine Qcsr caius, judgment dragon ss shien the icons of an era bygone. This maybe the most succesful yugioh product of all time dethroning rc01.
