KONG Survival Knife 2.2lb BEAST! Snow-Tac Knives So I plan on making 2 more of these this summer 2024 and with 5160 or 80CRV2 steels I made 2 of these quite a few years back out of 1045 carbon steel and I just think its super cool after I re-profiled the clip point. So I have a exact template of the one in this video to make subsequent KONG Survival Knives

My "KONG" handmade Survival Knife 2024
I do 4 types of primary and secondary grinds on my handmade knives
1. 3/4" wide aggressive primary hollow grind down to zero tolerance= straight razor blade profile
2. 3/4" wide aggressive primary hollow grind down to 10 degree secondary cutting edge
3. 3/4" wide aggressive primary hollow grind down to 15 degree secondary cutting edge
4. Dwaine Carrillo deep 1/2" wide hollow grinds with enhanced 1/4" wide 10 degree secondary cutting edges
These types of aggressive hollow grinds are only possible through my water cooling process during primary beveling process.
