KOREA VLOG Ep. 8: Last Meal in Korea | Eating Tteokbokki, Kimbap, Fried Squid & Hotteok!!

We normally go to Gwangjang Market, but today we decided to go to Mangwon Market. Traditional markets are slowly dying. Gwangjang Market & Mangwon Markets are both very popular in Seoul. I think everyone should at least visit one when they are in Korea to experience it.
This was actually our last meal in Korea, and we ordered tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), little kimbap, and fried squid for a total of only $11! The tteokbokki in Namdaemun was definitely still the best for us.

I like Mangwon Market. I just happen to go there because I have a friend who owns a flower shop in the Mangwon area. Her brother is a famous entertainer: Kpop as well as stage musicals.) I'm not sure if you seen it but there's a famous donut place at Mangwon Market which sells savory and sweet donuts/croquettes. The prices were very reasonable. I do prefer the hotteok stand at Namdaemun. My favorite is the one with the yellow sign but it burned down from a fire in December 2022. (I hope they will rebuild.)

Hi Chef Chis!!! I wish we had Markets like that around me. I'm sure Cleveland mite have some at China Town... but I have never been. The food looked delish. Nice to see pretty wifey and Carter is adorable!!! I know your both sad that was your last meal in Korea. Great video!!!...🦋
