And it’s fascinating how the materials used to create it holds a meaning and how the Norigae as a whole has various uses and is a symbol of Korean femininity, they weren’t just simple decorative accessories. Back when i was a highschool student, the series Princess Hours open my world to K-Drama’s. I always been fascinated on the traditional korean hanbok and accessories that they are wearing in the series that’s why i end up putting wearing hanbok as one of my bucketlist when I visit korea! I love how this small details have a big significance in the korean culture 😍

A very informative video about norigae! I thought it was just a simple fashion accessory hung from woman's hanbok.😯 I learned from this video that norigae not only served as good luck charm but also can be a perfume holder or even a needle/small knife holder for acupuncture and food testing. I usually see this ornament in historical Korean drama and it is so fascinating to know that it has different function apart from just an accessory. Thank you for this video.

My friend gave me a norigae as a gift when we went to hanbok village in korea. We wore hanboks and she gave me the norigae to hang from my hanbok. I didn't know its significance back then!
