Yes, people need to stop disparaging Taehyung because he's worked so hard to join the most elite and dangerous unit, SDT. He spent months before enlistment in interviews and academic tests to ensure he had the intelligence for the job, and several tough military exercises where he was driven to his limits to test his physical and psychological endurance. He aced it all, as he has done while training within SDT. Taehyung isn't treated like he's in a 'Disney movie' by anyone who knows who and what SDT is ~ it's a unit that doesn't do 'cute uniforms' or 'cute guns'. Taehyung is the Double Dragon of SK military, and has proved why we asked him if we could call him the 🐯of BTS; he's courageous, and gives everything in whatever he does. We're proud of how he's worked so hard to achieve his goals in his army career, when he could have easily chosen to be a regular soldier.

They can choose whether they want to have photos released or not. It is known that Jin chose to complete his service as a normal civilian so chose not to have his photos published and I think possibly Jimin and Jungkook have followed suit and maybe Namjoon as it’s only unofficial photos we have seen so far. Hobi like Tae chose to have photos published and we have had many of them. It is a matter of personal taste of the members on how they want to serve in the military. It is sad if it is your bias that has chosen this like mine in Jin but I appreciate he just wants to be Sergeant Kim SeokJin at the moment and not BTS Jin.

Maybe it has to do with the unit. During their initial training military posted photos of JM/JK/Jin’s unit trainees doing education and training and eagle-eyed fans found JK and Jimin (and of Jin when he was trainee) but we saw none of namjoon or tae. Tae is in a special forces which you need to do extra testing and training, and this is promotional video, probably to have more recruits to their unit.

V, RM and J-hope are fine with some pictures being shown. This was an news exclusive which showed Taehyung during a promotional video for the Military Police Special Task Force SDT unit. So it's for future recruits. This was probably rules in his unit because Hyungsik too did many promotions for SDT when he served. Tae just has lots of clout lol ❤❤❤

I read it is the individual celebrity that can choose whether to have photos posted or not after training and Jin chose not to. That is why we only see pictures of him taken when he is on leave. As there have been none of Jimin and Jungkook I assumed that they perhaps did the same. It may be associated to the unit though as they are the closest to the border, and could be a security thing but if so why the training pictures. Yes, I know Tae’s is a promotion video and of course the military is going to ask him to do one as BTS are world class and anything one of them promotes gets a lot of traction. I heard his friend Park Hyung Shik also did one for the unit when he was in the military. All these promotions help to encourage the young men to enlist with considering the situation over there is necessary. There was a large increase of enlisted men not long after Jin enlisted such is the power they have, and probably a surge every time one of them enlisted. It is wonderful to see them all do so so well. Whether they chose to release photos or not their influence and the fact that they are all excelling is encouragement enough. Previous photos/film are because he's so popular, so there is media, other soldiers etc. who take shots. Media will always spend time to find out what is going on at the camp Taehyung's in, and his likely movements. Local media and the gp took the football stadium shots. Taehyung's been on leave with Wooga squad, Na PD etc. so he's in the media a lot. The other members are doing similar things, it's just that there's more interest in Taehyung in SK.

Whom attracts so much attention from fans, non-fans, antis, fanatics etc. So yeah it's different.
