Thanks for the review. I recently bought Tract Binos and I’m very happy with them. Crystal clear and under $700 for 10x42. Worth checking out.

I don't always carry Binos even when on a western mountain hunt. When I do I carry some small 7x Steiners. Great for low light and plenty of magnification for a guy with a longbow in my opinion. 9 out of 10 though....I will leave the binos in the tent and go light

Nothing wrong with that. I'm the exact opposite. I won't go into the woods for anything without them. I use them for so many different things I'd be lost without em

Happy to see this review. I got a pair of these last year, and I love them for tree stand use. I also really liked my 8x42 Vortex Diamondbacks for the price, but the form factor and everything else that goes with the Kowa is great

Yep I agree the kowas are much better. But also cost almost double the vortex diamond backs. So both definitely have thier place. But I'm very happy I found the kowas!

I been using the Kowa 8x32's Prominar for a few years now. Love them! I use a Rick Young harness, fearher LW. IMO, the best treestand binos.

Very nice. Looked at that harness. Looks excellent. I like my paracord strap for these light weight ones. But someday I will buy that harness

I have the Kowa 99 spotter, I'll put it up against any glass out there. Fantastic glass. For binoculars I really like Meopta glass, just bought their 18x56 binoculars and they rock in low light and clarity.

@@tradbowpodcast if you get into their upper end glass is stands right up there with the best glass made. My Kowa scope is far better than swarovski glass I've looked through, but I haven't looked through their latest glass. Same with meopta.

@davetoms63 yep good glass matters. Matters less now than it used to to me in binos. But still means alot in my photography career.

I have a Meopta B2 20-70x82 and Optika 6 scope and they're great but the spotter FOV looks rather narrow. I'm curious as to how the Kowa 99 compares and probably next on my list that buy. So far the only Kowa I have is the Genesis Prominar 10x33. Curious how the Swarovski NL Pures compare.

Each year I say I'm going to buy a new pair of glass mine broke a couple years ago,I use them for football games.I also use B & H for my camera gear.

I use the Vortex for deer and hog. I have an old pair of Tasco that I use for Squirrel. The old ones still work great. I enjoy mixing them up.

I just received these Kowa 6.5X32 today, my example the hinge is so stiff I had to push hard to get them to move and they will not work and fold smoothly and uneven hinge folding of the binocular now. Poor quality control and finish the view is quite clear for the price but this is not for me. I own a Kowa Genesis 8x33 and I love that binocular high quality and clean crisp wide views at 420 feet is good enough for me. So I will be returning these 6.5X32 they are not as good as many reviews say they are more hype than anything. If you want excellent optics and quality you have to pay a lot more unfortunately but it is worth it in the long run of lifetime use and viewing.

@@tradbowpodcast These under $1000 binoculars - Tract Torics, Burris Signature HDs, Leupold BX4s, Zeiss Conquest HDs several Steiners several Mavens several Vortexes, Kowa Genesis Prominar XD aren't made in China just to name a few.

Those 7x30 swarovskis are probably amazing for eastern whitetail. I have 8x42 swarovskis and they're amazing but even those get tiring to carry sometimes

8x32 is an awesome size. Love my vortex 8x32s. Really really loving these 6.5s though. Very impressive

Hey Jason, are the maven or kowa a better glass than those vortex? Is there a big difference looking through them?

Yes. But again it comes at a cost over more than double the price. Are the mavens or kowas 2 or 2.5 times better than the vortex. Probably not. But they are noticeably better. I love my vortex diamondbacks! But I love the kowas better. And the Swarovskis better than the kowas. It's a pattern based on quality and cost.

That 32 Swarovski is a nightmare to focus with wet hands or with gloves on as the focus wheel is tiny , also the BD is less than half the cost .

Those Swarovski 7x30s are the best hunting binoculars ever made in my opinion. I love them.

And I have focused them just fine with wet hands in the rain and with gloves on hunting in 17 below zero. Not a single issue and no nightmares.

Dont want another 8 power. Want a 7. nobody makes a good 7 power anymore. maven and kowa make a 6 and 6.5 sol close enough. I already have 8x32s.

These aren't as good as the first bd xd model which I have. I have compared both and the new ones aren't as bright or sharp.

@@tradbowpodcast it's just disappointing when they bring out a new range that are not as good as the previous, as I am a big kowa fan. Eye cups are better on the previous xd model too.

@@tradbowpodcast yep, it's crazy when they discontinue a good range of binoculars for the sake of bringing out something new that are not as good. The new ones are obviously a lot darker in low light to the previous bd xd.

@GM-bq6zo I'm very happy with these kowas. Wearing them hunting right now. They are not Swarovski level but for the price of 350 gonna be very hard to beat them in today's world
