Good evening everyone from Italy. Today I propose the video review of the Kowa TSN-501, a compact spotting scope, with a lens diameter of 50 mm and a zoom eyepiece with a variable magnification between 20x and 40X. It costs 309 euros and benefits from a ten-year guarantee.

I own this little scope and I have to say, for its price it is remarkably good. The eyebox is a little small, but that's hardly a surprise considering the size of the exit pupil. It is not going to replace a bigger, more serious instrument, especially in low light. But I take it with me when I wouldn't bring my bigger scope and that makes it very useful to me. I use it when my binoculars are my primary optics and I only want to check something with it every once in a while. On outings where long distance viewing is the main objective, I would bring something more substantial.

Interessante e carino, questo piccolino di casa KOWA; il TSN-501 è davvero compatto e leggero. La versione dritta TSN-502 è quella che preferisco, perché fra le due è quella ancora più compatta. Grazie per la bella videorecensione, Piergiovanni.

HI. You can find the english subtiles using KZfaq on PC DESKTOP.there's a small icon in the shape of a gear in the lower right area of the video .

Grazie per la recensione, questa altre del tuo sito :) Sto valutato l'acquisto di un piccolo connocchiale di questo tipo. Sarebbe il mio primo e da usare anche in viaggio e con mio figlio. Valuto questo kowa, l'mm3 50 o 60mm (non-ed) ed eventualmente l'hummingbird. Tu cosa consigli? Grazie!

Tra i vari utilizzati, questo della Kowa mi è piaciuto molto, anche se è un semplice acromatico è nitido e leggero. A una cifra superiore esiste anche il TSN-550 KOWA che è un vero gioiellino sia per il prezzo che ovviamente per il maggior costo. Buone osservazioni a te e al figliolo.

@@opticsreviews la serie 550 è decisamente fuori budget :) l'mm4 direi é un po' fuori. I piu grandi dubbi sono sulla facilità di utilizzo per un neofita di un 13x contro un 18 o 20x :)

Per contesto il prezzo del mm3 50 e del 501 sono simili, mm3 60 poco di piu. Hummingbird 56 ED ancora di piu e l mm4 60 è al doppio del kowa (con hr3). Il 553 a piu del doppio del mm4 :)

Ottimo video, vorrei affiancare Il Kowa al mio Monarch M5 12*42. Dove non arrivo a zoomare con binocolo ,questo scope potrebbe colmare ?Lo andrei installare su treppiede con testa fluida Manfrotto .Grazie

Molto carino e compatto.Volendo spendere qualcosa in meno,potrei chiederti un consiglio? sulla fascia "economica",stavo valutando il Gosky Cannocchiale 20-60x80 o il Celestron Trailseeker CGL 52330-65. Volevo chiederti un parere,grazie

Ciao, purtroppo non li ho provati e non mi fido a dare un giudizio "solo teorico": Conosco la linea Trailseeker, perchè avevo provato un binocolo tempo fa www.binomania.it/celestron-8x32-trailseeker/ Dipende principalmente dal tuo budget a disposizione tra Gosky e Celestron, potrei consigliarti il secondo, visto che si fa forte di un nome altisonante nel settore astronomico dal 1964 quando ancora si chiamava "Celestron Pacific"

@@opticsreviews grazie per la risposta e per la dritta.. tengo d'occhio il celestron, visto che è schizzato dalle 150€ di media alle 400€ di colpo. Aspetto che rientri nel suo ordinario prezzo 🤞
