Doki Doki Morning was their very first song and they were actually 11 and 12 when they first performed it, since Yui and Moa were born in the summer and Su in December. The song is basicly about the rush before getting to school. The clothes in this video are partly lend by teachers and friends, they didn't even have real costumes in the beginning. Megitsune is definitly also one of my favourites and it's actually about the fact that women in japan often hide their feelings and act like everything is allright. The concert was Legend 1997, hold on Su's 16th birthday. It was the same concert where the Gimme Chocolate video was made and also the one where they crucified Su at the end. Megitsune was the first song they published outside of Sakura Gakuin and the music video features them in a shrine wearing Kimonos, you should definitly watch it. In the early days they played with backup tracks, sometimes with the babybones acting as a fake band, while they later got the Kami Band. And yes, it's a fox mask, Su always made funny faces towards Moa during this moment in concerts. Another great song is 'Catch me if you can' try the version with the Kami Band intro.

if you want goose bumbs, listen to "No Rain No Rainbows" its a ballad, so you would expect it... but damn is it good I do not remmember if you listened to Akatsuki, but that one is considered as one of the best performances/songs for Su iirc

I sang "Doki Doki Morning" at karaoke. It was fun. They did a smaller concert here in Dallas, Texas. It was a blast and I'm so glad I went.

You've probably noticed by now Babymetal has some songs that go hard and heavy and some that go more cute and cuddly....but they have songs that go in even more directions than that. 'Onedari Daisakusen' is just Yui & Moa and is a rap feature (Rap Metal) 'II~Ne' is tripolar, switching from pop to rap to deathcore mid-song 'No Rain No Rainbow' is a very pretty ballad featuring just Suzuka 'Tales of the Destinies/The One' is a live prog rock 2-parter that's 20 minutes long. Gonna reccomend Road of Resistance for your next one though if you haven't already heard it....that one's almost a rite of passage. It's great :)

Very good breakdown you seem to understand the essential entertaining factors BM deliver to an audience. BM have opened up the world to me I now study language for a hobby purely originating from the discovery of their music. The girls a stunning performers and the band a amazing musicians on the world stage. It's just such a pity that if a listener does not understand Japanese they are missing a big chunk of the fun!

good reaction video, we've been waiting for it!. they are great live, better than the studio versions and the music videos, but the official video for megitsune is very cool, you should watch it. (and by the way, this performance was before the got the real band, it was during the babybones era where they played with a tape, so it's not 100% live. check out other versions like budokan, wembley, metrock 2015). for next reactions I suggest "akatsuki" (live budokan or wembley), "rondo of nightmare" (live budokan), "amore" (live wembley), "syncopation" (live tokyo dome), or "headbanger" (any live version, but the video is cool too). if you can't find a song here on youtube search in dailymotion, the wembley and tokyo dome stuff is there but not here. it's hard to name only one favorite song... it's either "akatsuki" or "rondo of nightmare"... or maybe "syncopation".

Some compliments here. Your Sound and Video recording is pretty good. Other small channels have much more problems with that^^ just one suggestion. at the beginning the music was a bit too loud imo. just a bit, you were easy to understand. and if you like to get to know a new metal band, you could react to heaven shall burn ;) their videos mostly have some kind of story that fit to the meaning of their songs. some good ones for example are "Corium", "Combat" (prepare to cry), "Hunters Will Be Hunted", "Passage Of The Crane" live they are awesome but the video quality is rarely good.

Also de "sore sore sore" is something you can hear when the people to a festival and carry the portable shrines in the streets. Also some parts of the choreography are taken for the kagura dancing Btw, as you can guess, english isn´t my first language so i´m sure i make some errors.

The creepy aesthetic is kinda par the course for Metal. The genre tends to deal with darker emotions, as you can tell by now. Slipknot, Mudvayne, Mushroomhead are prime examples. Of those three, Mudvayne would probably be your style. But I'd suggest Mushroomhead, simply for the novelty factor. Not a lot of reactions for them out there, despite the fairly large fanbase.
