The fact that they have a consistent sound is very important, because this is a project that don't have official voices. The EP will have different artists voicing the members, so we only relay in the attitude and style to keep it consistent and a K/DA song.

the reason why this was just a lyric video is because this was just a pre-release single. they're gonna release a mini album within the next couple months, and the title track will most likely get a proper MV like POP/STARS.

Call it a flex indeed! This is just a pre-release of the song and they will release an EP and prolly a mini album soon. A new champion named Seraphine is confirmed to be added to the group. She have an active Instagram & Twitter accounts, and Soundcloud for her 2 covers (K/DA-POPSTARS & Childhood Dreams by ARY). Loved the mix here and as you say, the lyrics. You can turn on the captions to translate the Korean part especially the rap. Soyeon (korean rapper) got extended lines here compared to the last 2 LoL songs she's included mostly because the community wants more of her rap killing the song. Her 3rd part of rap (I'm so Lit, Mega like a Bit) rhymes on both English and Korean. Hope you listen to other LoL music videos in the future!

They will probably bring out a proper animated video with the cover version of the song. They keep teasing a new future KD/A member named Seraphine that already made covers of a few other songs and posted them on her personal Twitter account. She'll be the next champion in the game and as I said probably either the next KD/A member or at least a feature or remix artist with acoustic guitar.

In my opinions, I really love the fuzzy bassline in the main hook. It makes the vibe really strong and powerful. Second, it's really interesting on the rap part, they switch up the snare in every other backbeat. Subtle but interesting. And lastly, the ending makes me want to listen the song again and again. As always, really loves your reacts video. Keep it up, AZODi!

Yeah that bassline is mental, I literally have no idea how they did it, it sounds like its either a really deep sub note or it has some kinda note thats creating this tension / discord effect with it. its really cool. I do find with LoL tracks their sound design is really creative and I often struggle to figure it out haha thanks for your comment i appreciate it! should have the next video up later today! :D

I wonder whether you could do a collab with Joey Nato (another music producer doing reactions on YT) when the next track drops. I'd love to listen to you both geeking out about and discuss all the details and ideas Riot's producers put into these songs. You've talked a lot about the structure and KPOP-specifics while he's more focused on the instruments and effects.

the bubble sound design is literally just a hoover type lead... but with a sine wave and then some dimention expander. It's actually extremely simple and should not take more than 20 seconds to make as it's literally sinewave: pitch envelope -> dimention expander and then you're done.

@azodi it's great hearing your analysis of music. It really ignites my personal passion and helps me understand the elements I enjoy about the music, too. There is an album I'm very curious if you've heard: Andrew Bayer - It's Artificial. It's not related to k-pop or KDA, it's prog electronic, but it an absolute masterpiece that will surely leave you mind blown. I'd love to know if you hear it, but understand that a full album of something so far from your usual would not warrant a video. Just wanted to give you something to really stretch your musical mind. Yea i was sad that they didn't have the singing dancing video out yet.. but I feel like they'll release it at the end of worlds with the featuring (hopefully new champion) artist seraphine. Maybe have seraphine in the actual video they produce. So they make it extra spicy and exciting

Have you ever checked out Japanese versions? First one I saw was TT by twice. Maybe do a video on the difference in sound if any? I know twice has a whole separate channel for Japanese versions.

I dont speak Korean no, like a good amount of other writers they are mainly from the West! Pitches are mainly submitted in English too, then translated at the end :)
