KNIGHTLY REVIEW - A Vegas Fan reacts to the Vegas Golden Knights battling against the Dallas Stars in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Great upload...wonderful family. No skin in this series as an Oilers fans but good to see commenters of both teams involved being civil not to mention very supportive. Honestly, it's not just Stone playing hurt but Pietro looks kinda banged up too which makes sense seeing how he's missed some games towards end of the season. Hanifin is a very steady & responsible Dman....has the talent & potential to be dominant though that ceiling might be too much to ask for. Best of luck guys (just not against the Oilers haha).

That was cool to see your kids engaged! Cute family. I am a Stars fan, and I truly feel from Game 2 onward Dallas has been the better team. It's not over until it's over but hoping we can close it out in Vegas! Game 7 can always go either way so we need to finish this off. Thanks for being honest in your analysis!

I am a huge Stars fan and have been since birth. I have got to say that you are so relatable and have honest and genuine takes rather than pure emotional ones. I agree the refs have been a problem, calling soft stuff both ways and letting stuff go that was obvious. But holy cow, you are so right about the AAC fans. A lot of Stars fans don’t know what is clean and not and I hate it when they yell at the refs for clean stuff. Cute family and love that you are able to share what you love with them. I really appreciate it! Being fair to fans on both sides, with the refs being inconsistent, I'd also be upset with non-calls that were previously calls. Here's to a great rest of the series!

I noted my son's watched the last 3 games with me and now says I have to watch with dad so his stars win.. low and behold they won 3 straight. What a series. Thank you! Growing up, hockey always was a family thing for me, so I try to keep it that way. Haha, maybe have him sit out the next one at least so we have a Game 7? Still mad about the Petro penalty - not because of the refs decision but because it was such a cheap shot. I do think it shoulda been a double minor but…. VGK definitely showing theyre better than an 8th seed imo. That being said, I’m hoping this series wraps up in Vegas :) lol. Love your recaps though and looking forward to game 6!

I just think it’s already special Vegas has so much history already. We’ve won a cup in six years. Some people have been born and died waiting for the leafs to win a cup. Let’s be happy they’ve done so much so far.

It truly has been a roller coaster series and really didn’t want to see you guys in the first round of all things. As a Stars fan Otter has been saving our tail in the 3rd period consistently it feels like and honestly, that is what has kept us in the lead in these games when we have to sit back Eichel gets me on the edge of my seat every time he touches the puck cause you never know what shot will or will not go in. It's been a good series and hope we can close it out in Vegas but will not be surprised if Game 7 is forced.

@@aexious gotcha. It’s for sure still a great option. It’s a last ditch effort to win the game, and it can work. It worked for Vancouver earlier this week. Vegas specifically has sucked with the extra attacker all year though. They didn’t score a goal 6 on 5 until Game 58 against Ottawa, I think 3 or less all year. Even then, I’d be pissed if they didn’t try.

I'll tell you what my dad told me and it was an observation I made too. They don't look like they're having fun. Even when they won the two games you can see the fun and excitement they had last year just isn't there this year.

This isn't on goaltending. Most of the offense and defense aren't showing up. Passes aren't connecting, they're not getting the lucky bounces they did last year. Bad penalties are killing them. If they clean it up and play like they did in games 1 and 2, they can win on Friday. They can beat Dallas. But they have to play like they want it. I hope they do.

Sorry bro, fan here as well, but I don't care what the papers say as them being better then last years team. They missed the biggest stat of all...this team does not have the heart and hunger of last years team. I hope they pull it off but it does not look good.

Agreed reffing has been bad. Both sides kinda just show up every game and it seems what was fine last game isn't fine and something that was not acceptable 2 games ago is fair game. Definitely think Vegas has an issue on 5v5. I understand the lineup juggling to try and create those chances by Cassidy, but the Hill for Thompson decision was WILD.

Stars fan come in peace- ref was bad both sides of the puck. Our fans whine about everything all season most of us know it the ref you suck chants are the only time we genuinely think the missed a call.
