@@fxrc3086 that kraton will be your favorite rc. I have 2 of them and just did the full m2c on one with the xlx2. They are a blast. The other on has a max5 and hobbystar big can motor. What did you do for gearing?

@@joshherrman3201 Awsome... I have 35/35 saga gears. So 1 to 1 hopefully its not to much. I have 2 arrma 34t spool gears just in case...

@@fxrc3086 I have 39/34 in the max5 and 39/39 8n the xlx2. That will be good gearing for you and I run saga as well.

So no real reason except I always had really good luck with HR and I like the carbon fiber so far... im sure the vitavon ones are probably really nice.

@@fxrc3086 Unfortunately, I don't think the new Kraton 8S EXB will come with stronger A-arms. The truck actually comes with the same Outcast 8S A-arms. So, technically, they are new to the Kraton platform, but they are already in use on the Outcast 8S. As a matter of fact, someone has already busted the A-arms on their new Kratom 8S EXB. I saw it on KZfaq. But, maybe everything else will last longer on the EXB? Only time will tell. But I am looking forward to seeing your running video.

Thank you... I have run it and it's doing well. I have it geared moderately so it doesn't get too hot...The skyrc works ok... there's a lot better fans out there but for the money it's good 👍

@@fxrc3086 If i keep the 39 T spur gear, which pinion can you recommend me so that the motor doesn’t get too hot ?

@@glaalainstephanefally3443 what moter and ESC combo are u running... with the 800kv 8s moter anywhere between 25t to 35t. I like to start at the lower end and work my way up if the system can handle it. I changed out my spur to a 34t and my pinion is a 34t also so it's a 1 to 1 gearing

@@fxrc3086 yea I did some research and I guess agfrc is the main servo manufacturer and the power hobby 1512 and 1513 as well as the beast servos are all rebranded agfrc servos! The powerhobby 1512 is the cheapest one at 265.00 I wanted that one but all they had on Amazon was the agfrc 78kg 2s one and it was 296.32 shipped it's lightning fast too. I don't even use a servo saver on it! Handles like my built e Revo 2.0! I have the castle xlx2 combo with 1100kv motor game changer fans cnhl racing series 8000mah 120c lipos and m2c bits proline masher xps and proline body painted black as always! Ha cheers 🥂 happy new year!!

@@fxrc3086 the xmaxx power to weight ratio is pro a little better than the kraton but with the wide kit it might be pretty sick. If Traxxas comes with a wide xmaxx installed for 1000 I'll buy it if not I'll hold.

@@never-stock-rc2968 the XMAXX could def benefit from a little more width... I wish Traxxas did more roller versions of there rigs so u don't always have to buy there crappy Electronics👍👍
