I truly enjoy all of Danny's videos , however , there was one that really surprised me. I thought that it would be boring but I watched it all and totally enjoyed it . It was the bus ride from Downtown out to the strip with no narration. What a surprise ... it made me want to be there. But the real attraction to Danny's videos is the sincere , honest , and genuinely friendly Danny.

Yeah I miss those days of shark fin soup with a little red vinegar in it or birds nest soup banquets. Before it was banned I remember a volunteer at a public aquarium was in a little booth trying to drum up support to ban sharkfin soup. She had a canned version of sharkfin soup on display. She was telling everyone sharkfin doesn't even taste like anything and I felt like debating her to the contrary and asking where did she buy the canned version so I could get some too!

Shark fin soup is illegal in some states now. They’re using an imitation version but it’s not the same. Those Chinese wedding banquets were the bomb. Like you said a three hour meal. Still remember spiking the soup with scotch whiskey when I was a kid. Thanks for going back down memory lane.

It’s been a while since I’ve been there. The menu changes on certain days of the week. Snow crab and oysters on the half shell. Loved that place. Miss it. Affordable price even.

Love Krazy Buffet! There is something about the steamed fish that makes you want to just keep eating. Wish I knew what kind of fish it was. I also enjoyed your trip down memory lane. My family must have always done Option B because the wedding banquets I went to had abalone soup instead of sharks fin, and braised pork with buns instead of lobster stir fry. Good video!

Love your honest reviews. Those mushrooms that you gave a 9 must be pretty excellent. Other than that, sounds like a pretty “meh” buffet, but good for a cheap fill-up in Vegas.

i like that you peel the shrimp as many i see will eat the shell. and yes, when they deep fry them, its very hard to peel the shell off. but they are tasty just the same.

Oh meant to comment on the Chinese wedding banquets. Like you, I haven't been to one in a while. You Cracked me up about not eating birds nest soup once you knew what it was. Try having to clean that stuff before your grandmother or mother made the soup and finding out what it was! I still ate it, but just didn't think about it when eating it. The soup is boiled so I figure it kills the germs, right?

Instead of a single favorite restaurant or meal, I have a single favorite restaurant for each dish or food category - mongolian beef, walnut shrimp, lobster, fish, dim sum, hot pot, steaks, fried chicken, buffet, burger, sandwich, soup, Etc. Pringles sour cream and onion are the BEST! :)

Here's an idea! When you win a huge jackpot like the megabucks or something...you can do a Chinese banquet and invite your subs to come to it to meet you...but they can pay for their dinner so you aren't left paying the tab or not. Lol or do a meet up when you hit 100 subs!

My mom was invited to a Chinese wedding banquet when I was a kid and the food was really good. But I just didn’t like that the head of the fish and the duck was left on 😂

Head and tail is left on to signify a full marriage with a beginning and end. When eating and serving the fish it is also a big no no to flip the fish over to get to the other side of meat because it signifies overturning fortunes ( I learned the hard way!) Waiter and elders on the table stopped me and then watched as the waiter doesn't flip it but delicately removes and lifts out the backbone and sets it aside allowing access to the boneless fillet on the bottom. cheers

get a phone with internet, and the google maps app, put in the destination and click on public transit, and it will show you which buses to take! That is how I do it

Well I already have a couple of hundred videos not doing that so I don’t think it’s a good idea to change it. But if you want to know the price right away, usually I put a copy of the receipt in the last 20 seconds of the video you can always just you know check that out before you watch if you like.

umm... I did try that a few times, but as far as I go would be that if the "crawfish butter" came out with the tail, I would eat it too.. but sucking the head.. never was a guts and organs kinda guy..

Someday... maybe... you'll learn to pronounce "calamari." (Which is Italian for squid.) Phonetically, it's pronounced GAH-LAH-MAHR. Notice the "I" on the end is dropped from the pronunciation. GAH-LAH-MAR. It rolls out of your piehole much easier without pronouncing the "I" on the end. 😁

Ehhhh. Does not look like anything thrilling at Krazy Buffet. Certainly not something that I would fly to Vegas and go out of my way to try. Fish must've been very good to earn a 9 from you. Those Chinese banquets back in the old days at Silver Palace, Jing Fong, Grand Palace, 888 and several other large restaurants in the NYC Chinatown area were awesome. Sad that many of those places no longer exists and I have not heard of anyone holding these large scale banquets for about 2-3 years now. You are not old Danny. I am 52 and my guess is we are around the same age. Danny Danny Danny........I only play poker when at casinos. It is the only game that I have an "edge" because I am playing against other players instead of playing against the "house" or casino. I also do some sports betting but I stay away from the tables especially now when the limits are so high. And yes, I am not given that much comps now but like you said Danny, if I just pay cash, I actually have a chance of coming out ahead. Back in the 1980s days of Vegas, before computer tracking of all chips, I was able to earn plenty of comps just by making friends with the pit boss and casino hosts but that has not happened since the 2000s. I can considering a Vegas trip from November 6th to 11th. Let me know if you are there again Danny. I have a list of places to eat that I have not been to. I also plan to play some poker at the Resorts World poker room. Let me know Danny....
