A song from their first duet album "Full Moon", released in September 1973 on A&M Records
The song was written by Hod Pharis
The album was only released on CD in Japan
While listening to this song in my car yesterday, it occurred to me it may match with the amazing dancing scene in Heaven's Gate. So I tried it out, and this is the result. I've changed the speed of only one or two of the clips - the others fit perfectly. To me, this dancing scene is one of the most impressive scenes of the movie and one of my favourite.

Got dvd of this movie, but disk was damaged so had to send it back - now have it in amazon prime video library. You're great at this stuff - as Kris says: "don't let the ba****ds get you down@. All his fans - and yours - would miss you.

heaven's gate was considered a disaster when it was released. today it's acknowledged as a cult classic. there are two versions, see the longer one (about 4 hours) which was presented by isabelle hubbert at the museum of modern art a decade or more ago.

The first time I heard it, I thought that too. But I got the album, a couple of years ago, "Full Moon", and it is indeed him! He's going way more full on Country vs Folk, in this so it's not his usual style. But listen closely to it, and every now and then that gravel (which I love) that's his trademark sound does come through! It's definitely a unique sound and style for him, I agree. I guess this just proves how versatile he could be, if he wanted! 😊
