She was horrified the first time she saw the 1995 horror movie Castle Freak. One of her biggest on-screen inspirations was John Cassavetes' 1974 indie drama "A Woman Under the Influence". You can tell she is a very intelligent young woman. I know what it's like to have a lot of thoughts going through your head at once and not being able to vocalize them well, so I relate to her manner of speaking.

Intelligence can suffer under the weight of scrutiny and expectation. Liken it to having someone watch over your shoulder while you're trying to focus--not many people enjoy that feeling.

I wonder why people say that. True, she most likely doesn't care (then she'd be stuck in a vacuum of positivity ... which is a pseudo-intellectually philosophy in itself). True, she doesn't know who makes comments about her , but it also strikes me as such a non legit point when people say such things and, for the most part, childish. The funny thing, the "doesn't care/know you exist" is usually shoved towards the non-compliments. I guess you can say that, let's take politicians, they don't care what you think nor if you exist. They have the power, so you're just a little peon to them.

I like that she's so awkward. Not fancy, funny, cute awkward, but actual awkward; the one most of us can relate to. With this level of relatability it's almost painful to watch because we can just feel ourselves sitting there. I think Kristen is awesome because of this :)

Nicely put. So refreshing to hear people compliment her instead of all of the hate. I think she's really intelligent, hard-working and I enjoy hearing her introspection (like her comments beginning at the 0:33 mark). I think Twilight has given her a bad rep, but she's more than that :-)

I don't know what it is, but she is so relatable and raw.... This is the kind of person I'd want to go camping with and have hours of conversation with. She's such a just...I don't know, human? She really does stand out amongst other celebrity women, she is very humble, real, and doesn't take things to her head it seems.

And notice I didn't say gay too, because that'd be implying she's gay, which she's actually said several times, that she's NOT. why don't you all focus on WHAT she's saying, rather than how she's saying it. she's an introvert, which you don't see a lot in hollywood and she doesn't try to hide or change that about herself, but rather accepts it and that's beautiful. so you should all do the same and stop hating people because they aren't exactly like you

There is something so raw, real and pationate behind her eyes, it is almost too much to bare. I think thats the reason why some dont like her, she is way too tough to figure out. But personally, thats what I like about her.

She is absolutely wonderful and talented. Most people don't even know how hard she works. I'm always amazed by how little people noticed about her acting instead of everything else. And by the way, she is just as full of nerves as Jennifer Lawrence, they just express it in different ways. Love them both! Keep up the good work!

***** Please be trolling. You know what autism is right? Lacking the ability to place oneself in another person's mindset. Kristen is just introverted and has a hard time opening up to people. She's enormously conscious of herself and her surroundings resulting in being the way she is. It's a far cry from autism, really. And what you speak of, the prodigies. Those don't involve other people to feed of off, exchange emotions and such which you definitely need on the set for acting. Being a genius at the piano or at drawing are vastly different.

As much flack as Kristen Stewart gets, I think it's just that she doesn't know what to do with fame, and kind of rebels against it. She's gotten rave reviews and even award buzz for her new military movie coming out. I'm rooting for her to show what she's got. Also, she's beautiful.

I agree with a lot of the people on here, I think Kristen Stewart seems to be very relatable and raw. It seems like some people don't like her just because she's not this bubbly, outgoing person with a smile on her face all the time, I think her real personality is much more relatable, to me anyways. And I also think Stewart is a perfectly fine actress, maybe not the best, but I think she's decent, especially in the movie Speak.

There's something weird about that "haters" trend, because it's so persistent. Their reign should be over, by now, because the disastrous Twilight franchise is over, and Stewart has done a lot of great things in the indie films department (On the road, Sils Maria, Camp X Ray). as it as always been the case (Adventureland, Welcome to the Rileys, The Runaways). I guess she should play something REALLY different like a happy-go-lucky girl in a comedy, for example, to end this nonsense. I'm sure she would ace it.

Kristen doesn't regret it. She told Patti Smith that in Interview magazine. She says she knows what people say but that she is very proud of it because the fans loved it and that's all that ever mattered to her.

I had to stop watching at 2:16. she has a lot of nervous ticks and that gives me anxiety. Also the pause and and and word repeats are a pet peeve on mine. On a positive note she does seem very down to earth and real.

I really love this girl, not just because she is beautiful, but i really think her personality is so more attractive than most girls. What can i say? I like shy girls! I love to see her on screen, but i still have a few doubts about her acting skills. But, of course, she is still very young, and i think she is on track to achieve better perfomances, working with great actors. So, we'll see.

People should stop hating her because she says "umm" or "like" or "BFD". People do this all the time. It's just something you say in your sentences as you're trying to collect your thoughts or remember something or if you're nervous. No one knows what to say off the top of their head and is able to say it with complete confidence and fluidity. I'm 100% sure that most people have said "umm" at some point in time.

I can't believe I haven't seen this interview bfore. She is definitely one of those ppl out there willing to be heard, but not calling for much attetion outta it. Kristen has always seem a great person to me, caring, lovely and lovable. I really don't get why ppl try to think that they know her (and hate her) for one or two things they read about her on magazines or just one or two movies of her they've seen. I think that's one of the reasons I just try not give much attention to what they write or say, but to what she gives (or says) I luv ya, Kristen.

I watched some of her movies and I don't know why people are commenting she has no facial expression. Obviously, you are a hater. She is actually a versatile actress. For those who are saying that her twilight role sucks... I suggest that you read the book so you know more about Bella Swan and her actions and expressions. She's just being herself. I love Kristen for the way she is and i like her style of " i don't care what you think this is how I'm doing it!" As an actor she trows herself int o her work and cares about how she represents the character or work. She is passionate about her work and works hard to really know everything that she can learn to craft her character . Shes not out to impress anyone for her but for her work style and craft. I like her honesty and that she keeps private in this world of everyone showing off . Her facial expressions are hilarious. I love her shyness and embarrassment she holds still i find it endearing. Haters will be haters and i think she is a good influence .

On a purely physical level there is no doubt that she is beautiful looking, but I think that only tells half the story. She appears feisty yet vunerable, I guess it's like peeling back the layers of an onion. There is so much to this girl, intelligent, eloquent, passionate. Damn, I'd love to spend some time in her company, just looking at her and listening to her...She's great!

I was never interested with vampire saga and it's so weird to see now how Kristen tells about this experience and realize that a couple years ago she was just a vampire movie girl - she showed a great progress!

I love the way she talks with her hands. It seems as if she has so many thoughts going on in her mind, that its hard to relay them sometimes.

Above all the interviews she did this is my favourite. She just seems more open and comfortable rather than looking down on the floor and fiddling all the time.

Eleanor Henderson You have strange taste. This woman looks different in diver videos, in some videos considerably ugly (for example in this video), in other only slightly ugly (watch?v=MGgQEFUAzaQ). Other video, where it looks only little ugly. watch?v=T2HhEC7XyaM

Kristen is a really beautiful and intelligent woman, but the twilight movies were a bad decision on her part, such a terrible script and role for her.

they only thrust her into mega-stardom, before twilight she was just a mundane actress to most. despite your opinion on the films, it has a large fanbase and doing those movies was one of her best decisions.

I really love these interviews. I started watching these about a year ago and didn't even know she had one. She has the same mannerisms in the characters i've seen her play. I don't think she's a bad actress(like a lot of the commenters), but I have yet to see her become a character extremely different from herself. Also, towards the end of the video when they use longer close-ups, I can't help but notice that she looks like a young Jodie Foster(btw she played Foster's daughter in Panic Room)
